أعلن نادي مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي، اليوم (الجمعة)، تجديد عقد مدافعه البرتغالي روبن دياز لمدة 4 سنوات.
وقال النادي الإنجليزي في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني: «وقّع روبن دياز عقداً جديداً لمدة 4 سنوات ليؤكد التزامه بمستقبله مع مانشستر سيتي».
وأضاف: «المدافع كان جزءاً أساسياً من نجاحاتنا الأخيرة، وهذا الاتفاق الجديد سيبقيه في النادي حتى صيف عام 2029».
وانضم دياز إلى مانشستر سيتي في سبتمبر 2020 قادماً من نادي طفولته بنفيكا، ومنذ ذلك الحين أصبح صخرة في قلب الفريق السماوي.
خاض المدافع البرتغالي أكثر من 200 مباراة مع مانشستر سيتي، وحقق 10 ألقاب خلال مواسمه الخمسة في ملعب «الاتحاد»، من بينها 4 ألقاب للدوري الإنجليزي ودوري أبطال أوروبا.
Manchester City Football Club announced today (Friday) the renewal of their Portuguese defender Ruben Dias' contract for 4 years.
The English club stated in a statement on their website: "Ruben Dias has signed a new 4-year contract, confirming his commitment to his future with Manchester City."
They added: "The defender has been an essential part of our recent successes, and this new agreement will keep him at the club until the summer of 2029."
Dias joined Manchester City in September 2020 from his childhood club Benfica, and since then he has become a rock at the heart of the sky-blue team.
The Portuguese defender has played over 200 matches with Manchester City and has won 10 titles during his five seasons at the Etihad Stadium, including 4 Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League.
