احتضنت العاصمة القطرية الدوحة مقر اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم مراسم قرعة بطولة دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية في نسختها الثامنة مساء الأحد. ووضعت القرعة نادي الشباب في المجموعة الثانية مع أندية الريان القطري والنهضة العماني وتضامن حضرموت اليمني، في حين ضمت المجموعة الأولى أندية زاخو العراقي والعين الإماراتي وسترة البحريني إلى جانب القادسية الكويتي.
ومن المنتظر أن تنطلق منافسات البطولة يوم 16 سبتمبر 2025، وتستمر حتى 14 أبريل 2026، حيث تُقسم الفرق إلى مجموعتين، يتأهل منها فريقان إلى المربع الذهبي، على أن تُلعب الأدوار الإقصائية بنظام الذهاب والإياب.
ودوَّن نادي دهوك العراقي اسمه في سجل البطولة الذهبي بتحقيقه لقب النسخة الماضية بعد فوزه على القادسية الكويتي بنتيجة 2-1 في مجموع مباراتي النهائي، في حين تتصدر الأندية السعودية قائمة الأكثر فوزاً باللقب برصيد 13 لقباً.
يذكر أن اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لفت الأندية المشاركة إلى أنه سيتم تحديد جدول مباريات البطولة وإرساله إلى الأندية المشاركة خلال الأيام القادمة.

The Qatari capital, Doha, hosted the draw ceremony for the eighth edition of the Gulf Clubs Champions League on Sunday evening at the headquarters of the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation. The draw placed Al-Shabab Club in Group B alongside Qatari clubs Al-Rayyan, Omani club Al-Nahda, and Yemeni club Tadamon Hadramout, while Group A included Iraqi club Zakho, Emirati club Al-Ain, Bahraini club Sitra, and Kuwaiti club Al-Qadsia.
The tournament is set to kick off on September 16, 2025, and will continue until April 14, 2026, with the teams divided into two groups, from which two teams will qualify for the semifinals, and the knockout stages will be played in a home-and-away format.
Iraqi club Duhok etched its name in the golden record of the tournament by winning the last edition after defeating Al-Qadsia of Kuwait with a score of 2-1 on aggregate in the final matches, while Saudi clubs lead the list of most titles won with a total of 13 championships.
It is worth noting that the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation has informed the participating clubs that the tournament schedule will be determined and sent to the participating clubs in the coming days.
