كشف الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الأحد) أن لديه بعض الخلافات مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بشأن إيران، مؤكداً أن المحادثات مع إيران في الوقت الراهن جيدة.
وأوضح ترمب للصحفيين، خلال وجوده على متن طائرة الرئاسة (إير فورس وان) في طريقه إلى ولاية ميشيجان، أنه سيستخدم أموال إيران لدفع تعويضات عن الأضرار التي ألحقتها بالآخرين.
وأشار إلى أن لديه متسعاً كبيراً من الوقت للتعامل مع إيران. وتطرق ترمب إلى المخاوف من تورط دول في دعم إيران بالقول: «سأستفسر من روسيا عن تزويد إيران بصور التقطتها الأقمار الاصطناعية».
وكان ترمب هدد في وقت سابق بالعودة إلى الحرب ضد إيران «بشكل أقوى» إذا أخفقت الجهود الدبلوماسية، مؤكداً أنه لن يمنح المفاوضات وقتاً طويلاً.
وقال ترمب لشبكة «إكسيوس» إن الوسطاء طلبوا منه إفساح المجال للمحادثات، مضيفاً: «المفاوضات مع إيران عميقة، وإذا فشلت سنعود إلى الحرب».
ولفت إلى أنه قرر تعليق الضربات الأمريكية على إيران لإتاحة فرصة جديدة للمفاوضات، مشدداً بالقول: «نجري محادثات عميقة جداً مع إيران، وإذا لم تنجح سنعود إلى عمل عسكري قوي جداً».
وعندما سُئل عن المدة التي يمنحها للمسار الدبلوماسي، أجاب: «ليس الكثير من الوقت، إما أن يتم الأمر بسرعة، أو لا يتم على الإطلاق».
وأضاف: «كل من يتعامل مع إيران طلب مني: لا تطلق النار»، مشيراً إلى اعتقاده بأن إيران ترغب في التوصل إلى اتفاق.
من جهة أخرى، ذكرت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية (سنتكوم) أن قواتها غيرت مسار 17 سفينة تجارية، وعطلت اثنتين، واعتلت سفينتين، لضمان الامتثال في مضيق هرمز.

Trump explained to reporters, while aboard Air Force One on his way to Michigan, that he would use Iran's funds to pay compensation for the damages it has caused to others.
He noted that he has plenty of time to deal with Iran. Trump addressed concerns about countries being involved in supporting Iran by saying, "I will inquire with Russia about providing Iran with satellite images."
Earlier, Trump had threatened to return to war against Iran "more strongly" if diplomatic efforts fail, emphasizing that he would not give negotiations too much time.
Trump told Axios that intermediaries had asked him to allow space for talks, adding: "Negotiations with Iran are deep, and if they fail, we will return to war."
He pointed out that he decided to suspend U.S. strikes on Iran to give negotiations a new opportunity, stressing: "We are having very deep talks with Iran, and if they do not succeed, we will return to very strong military action."
When asked how much time he is giving to the diplomatic path, he replied: "Not much time, it either happens quickly, or not at all."
He added: "Everyone dealing with Iran has asked me: do not shoot," indicating his belief that Iran wants to reach an agreement.
On another note, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that its forces redirected 17 commercial vessels, disrupted two, and boarded two to ensure compliance in the Strait of Hormuz.
