رحبت الحكومة اليمنية اليوم (الجمعة) بالمبادرة الإنسانية التي أطلقتها المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية لاستئناف الرحلات الجوية بين صنعاء وعمّان، انطلاقاً من حرصها الأخوي على التخفيف من معاناة أبناء الشعب اليمني.
وأعربت الحكومة اليمنية عن بالغ تقديرها للموقف الأردني الثابت إلى جانب اليمن على امتداد العقود الماضية، وما قدمته المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية من إسهامات إنسانية وسياسية مشهودة، تعكس عمق العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، وحرصها الدائم على أمن اليمن واستقراره، ووحدته وسيادته وسلامة أراضيه.
وأكدت الحكومة التزامها الكامل بتوفير جميع التسهيلات اللازمة لإنجاح هذه المبادرة، انطلاقاً من مسؤوليتها تجاه المواطنين، وإيمانها بأن حماية مصالح اليمنيين وتخفيف معاناتهم تمثل أولوية وطنية قصوى، لا تنفصل عن واجبها الدستوري في صون السيادة الوطنية.
كما أكدت الحكومة أن هذه المبادرة تنسجم بصورة كاملة مع المبادرات التي سبق أن طرحتها الدولة اليمنية لتشغيل مطار صنعاء بصورة قانونية وآمنة عبر الناقل الوطني، الخطوط الجوية اليمنية، إلى أي وجهة يتم الاتفاق عليها، وبما يكفل خدمة جميع المواطنين دون تمييز، ويحفظ سيادة البلاد، واحترام القوانين الوطنية، وقواعد القانون الدولي، والاختصاص الحصري للدولة في إدارة مجالها الجوي ومطاراتها كافة.
وجددت الحكومة اليمنية التأكيد على أن مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية كانت وراء إعاقة وإجهاض كافة المبادرات لتشغيل الناقل الوطني شركة الخطوط الجوية اليمنية، وهي اليوم ملزمة بالكف عن الاستمرار في هذا النهج التخريبي، والإفراج عن أموال الشركة، وأصولها المحتجزة، وضمان سلامة طواقمها، وتمكينها من أداء واجبها في نقل جميع اليمنيين، ووقف تسخير المطارات ومقدرات اليمن لخدمة قيادات المليشيا وعائلاتها، أو أجنداتها العسكرية والسياسية على حساب الشعب اليمني.
وحذرت الحكومة اليمنية مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية من تفويت هذه الفرصة، والاستمرار في خطاب التعبئة والتحشيد، والزج بالشعب اليمني في مغامرات طائشة لا تخدم سوى المشروع الإيراني، بدلاً من الانخراط في خطوات مسؤولة تعزز فرص السلام، وتصون مصالح المواطنين، وجعلها فوق كل اعتبار.
كما جددت الحكومة التأكيد على تمسكها بخيار السلام العادل والشامل القائم على المرجعيات الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية، ومواصلة العمل مع الأشقاء والأصدقاء من أجل إنهاء الحرب واستعادة مؤسسات الدولة، مؤكدة أن الدولة ستظل قادرة على الجمع بين الحزم في حماية سيادتها، والمسؤولية في الوفاء بالتزاماتها الإنسانية تجاه جميع أبناء الشعب اليمني، وتحقيق تطلعاتهم في الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية.
وأكدت أن القوات المسلحة والأمن ستبقى في حالة جاهزية تامة، وعلى أهبة الاستعداد للتعامل مع أي تصعيد من جانب المليشيات الحوثية الإرهابية، وردع أي تهديد يستهدف سيادة البلاد، أو أمنها واستقرارها، والتعامل بحزم مع أي محاولات لفرض أمر واقع بالقوة.
The Yemeni government welcomed today (Friday) the humanitarian initiative launched by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to resume flights between Sana'a and Amman, stemming from its fraternal concern to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The Yemeni government expressed its deep appreciation for the steadfast Jordanian position alongside Yemen over the past decades, and for the humanitarian and political contributions made by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which reflect the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, and its constant commitment to Yemen's security, stability, unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The government affirmed its full commitment to providing all necessary facilities to ensure the success of this initiative, based on its responsibility towards citizens, and its belief that protecting the interests of Yemenis and alleviating their suffering represents a top national priority, which is inseparable from its constitutional duty to uphold national sovereignty.
The government also confirmed that this initiative is fully consistent with the initiatives previously proposed by the Yemeni state to operate Sana'a Airport legally and safely through the national carrier, Yemen Airways, to any agreed destination, ensuring service to all citizens without discrimination, while preserving the country's sovereignty, respecting national laws, international law, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the state in managing its airspace and all its airports.
The Yemeni government reiterated that the terrorist Houthi militia was behind the obstruction and thwarting of all initiatives to operate the national carrier, Yemen Airways, and that it is now obligated to cease this destructive approach, release the company's funds and its seized assets, ensure the safety of its crews, and enable it to fulfill its duty in transporting all Yemenis, while stopping the exploitation of airports and Yemen's resources to serve the militia's leaders and their families, or their military and political agendas at the expense of the Yemeni people.
The Yemeni government warned the terrorist Houthi militia against missing this opportunity, continuing with mobilization rhetoric, and dragging the Yemeni people into reckless adventures that serve only the Iranian agenda, instead of engaging in responsible steps that enhance the chances of peace, safeguard citizens' interests, and prioritize them above all else.
The government also reiterated its commitment to the option of a just and comprehensive peace based on national, regional, and international references, and its continued work with brothers and friends to end the war and restore state institutions, affirming that the state will remain capable of balancing firmness in protecting its sovereignty with responsibility in fulfilling its humanitarian obligations towards all Yemenis, and achieving their aspirations for security, stability, and development.
It confirmed that the armed forces and security will remain in a state of complete readiness, prepared to deal with any escalation from the terrorist Houthi militias, deter any threat targeting the country's sovereignty, security, or stability, and respond firmly to any attempts to impose a fait accompli by force.
