ألمح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إلى أن إيران تريد إبرام اتفاق يوقف الحرب التي دخلت أسبوعها الثالث. واعتبر ترمب في منشور على منصة «سوشال تروث»، اليوم (السبت)، أن إيران «مهزومة تماماً وتريد إبرام اتفاق»، لكنه لن يوافق عليه.
وقال إن «وسائل الإعلام التي تنشر أخباراً كاذبة تكره التحدث عن النتائج العظيمة التي حققها الجيش الأمريكي ضد إيران التي هُزمت تماماً وتريد إبرام اتفاق، لكنه لن يكون اتفاقاً أوافق عليه!».
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي، قد لفت في وقت سابق إلى أن القوات الأمريكية دمرت الأهداف العسكرية كافة في جزيرة خرج. وشدد أكثر من مرة خلال الأيام الماضية على أن بلاده دمرت إيران تدميراً شاملاً، وسحقت صواريخها ودفاعاتها الجوية وأسطولها البحري.
وردت القوات البحرية الإيرانية نافية الأمر، وأكد المسؤول عن الشؤون السياسية داخل القوات البحرية في الحرس الثوري محمد أكبر زادة، أن هذه «الادعاءات الأمريكية تتناقض مع التطورات في المنطقة»، وفق ما نقلت وكالة الأنباء الرسمية «إرنا».
وأضاف «الولايات المتحدة تدعي تدمير البحرية الإيرانية.. وإلا لماذا لا يزال مضيق هرمز مغلقاً ولماذا لا تستطيع أي ناقلة المرور عبره؟».
وكان وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي قد استبعد هذا الأسبوع إجراء محادثات مع أمريكا، مضيفاً أن الهجمات الصاروخية لبلاده ستستمر طالما كان ذلك ضرورياً. وأشار إلى أن طهران مرّت «بتجربة مريرة جداً» خلال المفاوضات السابقة مع الولايات المتحدة.
U.S. President Donald Trump hinted that Iran wants to reach an agreement to stop the war that has entered its third week. Trump considered in a post on the "Truth Social" platform today (Saturday) that Iran is "completely defeated and wants to reach an agreement," but he will not agree to it.
He said, "The media that spreads false news hates to talk about the great results achieved by the U.S. military against Iran, which has been completely defeated and wants to reach an agreement, but it will not be an agreement that I agree to!"
Earlier, the U.S. president pointed out that American forces destroyed all military targets on Qeshm Island. He emphasized several times in recent days that his country has completely destroyed Iran, crushing its missiles, air defenses, and naval fleet.
The Iranian naval forces responded by denying the matter, and the political affairs official within the naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard, Mohammad Akbarzadeh, stated that these "American claims contradict developments in the region," according to the official news agency "IRNA."
He added, "The United States claims to have destroyed the Iranian navy... Otherwise, why is the Strait of Hormuz still closed, and why can't any tanker pass through it?"
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi excluded this week the possibility of talks with the U.S., adding that his country's missile attacks will continue as long as necessary. He noted that Tehran has gone through a "very bitter experience" during previous negotiations with the United States.
