اتهم وزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان، اليوم (الإثنين)، إسرائيل بانتهاك اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة رغم أن حركة حماس أبدت استعدادها لتسليم حكم القطاع إلى لجنة فلسطينية، موضحا أن هجماتها يجب أن تنتهي فورا.
وأوضح فيدان خلال مؤتمر صحفي في ختام الاجتماع العربي الإسلامي في إسطنبول، أن تل أبيب تقيّد المساعدات الإنسانية وتمنع وصولها إلى المدنيين في غزة، مبينا أن هناك تحديات وانتهاكات مستمرة في التطبيق الفعلي للاتفاق.
دعم السلام في غزة
وأشار وزير الخارجية التركي إلى أن الدول المجتمعة لديها رسالة واضحة وهي أنه لا يجب التقاعس في مسار السلام بغزة، وألا نسمح بأفعال تعرض وقف إطلاق النار والسلام للخطر، ويجب أن يكون هناك احترام لمسار السلام، مضيفا: «لدينا نبرة مشتركة في هذا الاجتماع، نود أن يستمر اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، وأن نرى خطوات لسلام دائم، ونحن مستعدون لأداء مسؤولياتنا في هذه المرحلة المهمة».
ولفت فيدان إلى أن إسرائيل قتلت 250 شخصا منذ الإعلان عن وقف إطلاق النار، مشددا على ضرورة وقف هذه الهجمات على الفلسطينيين. واعتبر أن الاتفاق بين الفلسطينيين في أقرب وقت مهم جدا، مبينا أن الاتصالات في هذا الصدد إيجابية للغاية.
اجتماع وزراء خارجية الدول الإسلامية
وشدد وزير الخارجية التركي بالقول: وحدة الفلسطينيين ستعزز تمثيلهم في المجتمع الدولي.
وعقد وزراء خارجية عدد من الدول الإسلامية في إسطنبول، اليوم، اجتماعا لبحث وقف إطلاق النار الهش في قطاع غزة، وانضم إليهم وزراء خارجية قطر والسعودية والإمارات والأردن وباكستان وإندونيسيا.
وناقش الاجتماع تطورات وقف إطلاق النار والوضع الإنساني في قطاع غزة.
وكان الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان قد قال قبيل انطلاق المحادثات إن حركة حماس ملتزمة بوقف إطلاق النار، أما إسرائيل فلديها سجل سيء للغاية في هذا الشأن.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan accused Israel today (Monday) of violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, despite Hamas expressing its readiness to hand over governance of the territory to a Palestinian committee, clarifying that its attacks must end immediately.
Fidan explained during a press conference at the conclusion of the Arab-Islamic meeting in Istanbul that Tel Aviv is restricting humanitarian aid and preventing it from reaching civilians in Gaza, noting that there are ongoing challenges and violations in the actual implementation of the agreement.
Support for Peace in Gaza
The Turkish Foreign Minister pointed out that the countries gathered have a clear message: there should be no complacency in the peace process in Gaza, and we must not allow actions that jeopardize the ceasefire and peace. There must be respect for the peace process, adding, "We have a common tone in this meeting; we want the ceasefire agreement to continue and to see steps towards lasting peace, and we are ready to fulfill our responsibilities at this important stage."
Fidan noted that Israel has killed 250 people since the announcement of the ceasefire, stressing the necessity of stopping these attacks on Palestinians. He considered that an agreement among Palestinians as soon as possible is very important, indicating that communications in this regard are very positive.
Meeting of Islamic Foreign Ministers
The Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized that the unity of the Palestinians will enhance their representation in the international community.
Foreign ministers from several Islamic countries held a meeting in Istanbul today to discuss the fragile ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, joined by the foreign ministers of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Pakistan, and Indonesia.
The meeting discussed developments in the ceasefire and the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had stated prior to the talks that Hamas is committed to the ceasefire, while Israel has a very poor record in this regard.
