كشف المتحدث باسم الحرس الثوري الإيراني عن طبيعة عملية اغتيال رئيس المكتب السياسي في حركة حماس إسماعيل هنية أثناء وجوده في طهران، ومشاركته في حفل تنصيب الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان في 31 يوليو من العام الماضي.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم الحرس الثوري أن عملية الاغتيال، لم تكن نتيجة عمل تخريبي داخلي، موضحاً أنه تم استهداف هنية بصاروخ أُطلق من مسافة محددة أصاب النافذة مباشرة ثم استقر في جسده.
تفاصيل الاغتيال
ولفت إلى أن هنية كان يتحدث عبر الهاتف لحظة الضربة، وأن الصاروخ جاء من الاتجاه نفسه الذي كان ينظر نحوه.
وأشار إلى أن مجلس الأمن القومي الإيراني عقب الاغتيال أجمع على ضرورة الرد وترك توقيت الرد بيد القوات المسلحة، مبيناً أن هذا القرار جاء بعد حل المشكلات التي واجهت عملية «الوعد الصادق 1».
وأكد المتحدث أن فريق «الشهيد حاجي زاده» أنجز بين عمليتي «الوعد الصادق 1 و2» «ما يعادل عاماً كاملاً من العمل خلال شهرين فقط.
ورغم ما أورده المسؤول الإيراني إلا أن القناة الـ12 الإسرائيلية بثت تحقيقاً أواخر العام الماضي عن اغتيال هنية بعنوان «الموساد في قلب طهران.. هكذا قتلت إسرائيل إسماعيل هنية في المجمع الأكثر حماية»، مبينة أن «الموساد» هو من قتل هنية بقنبلة وُضعت في غرفته بحيث لا تؤدي إلى مقتل أحد سواه، وكان ذلك قبل بدء مراسم تسلُّم الرئيس الإيراني الجديد مهماته.
العملية الأكثر حساسية
ونقلت القناة عن التقرير الذي سمحت الرقابة العسكرية الإسرائيلية بنشره معلومات جديدة بشأن اغتيال هنية في طهران أنه في ليلة اغتيال هنية تعطل مكيف غرفته، وهو ما كان سيؤدي لإلغاء المهمة، لكن الإيرانيين أصلحوه.
ووصف التحقيق عملية اغتيال هنية بأنّها كانت من الأخطر والأكثر حساسية في تاريخ المخابرات.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard revealed the nature of the assassination operation of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, while he was in Tehran, participating in the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian on July 31 of last year.
He clarified that the assassination operation was not the result of an internal sabotage act, explaining that Haniyeh was targeted by a missile fired from a specific distance that hit the window directly before settling in his body.
Details of the Assassination
He pointed out that Haniyeh was speaking on the phone at the moment of the strike, and that the missile came from the direction he was looking towards.
He indicated that the Iranian National Security Council, following the assassination, unanimously agreed on the necessity of a response, leaving the timing of the response to the armed forces, noting that this decision came after resolving the issues that faced the "Honest Promise 1" operation.
The spokesperson confirmed that the "Martyr Haji Zadeh" team accomplished what equates to a full year of work in just two months between the "Honest Promise 1 and 2" operations.
Despite what the Iranian official reported, Israeli Channel 12 aired an investigation late last year about the assassination of Haniyeh titled "Mossad in the Heart of Tehran... This is How Israel Killed Ismail Haniyeh in the Most Protected Complex," indicating that the "Mossad" was responsible for Haniyeh's death with a bomb placed in his room that would not result in the death of anyone else, and this occurred before the new Iranian president's inauguration ceremony began.
The Most Sensitive Operation
The channel reported, based on a report that Israeli military censorship allowed to be published, new information regarding Haniyeh's assassination in Tehran, stating that on the night of the assassination, the air conditioning in his room malfunctioned, which could have led to the mission being canceled, but the Iranians repaired it.
The investigation described the assassination of Haniyeh as one of the most dangerous and sensitive operations in the history of intelligence.
