The Chairman of the Yemeni Shura Council, Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr, confirmed that the missile attack on Riyadh and other Saudi cities is a heinous crime targeting the lives of civilians, civilian objects, and the security, economy, and stability of the Kingdom. He stated that this is a brutal, aggressive act devoid of human values, and a war crime that brings shame to humanity.
He said that any harm to the security and interests of the Kingdom is a harm to Arab national security, foremost being the security of Yemen, which the Kingdom has supported with all means of assistance in the battle to defend Yemen against a terrorist Houthi coup that serves Iranian ambitions in Yemen and the region.
He clarified that the Houthis, as the rebellious gang, believe they are achieving their goals in Yemen or extracting gains from the Kingdom, pointing out that Saudi Arabia is a major power in the region capable of curbing the barbaric attacks it faces. However, it is a state that enjoys a high degree of self-restraint, with wise leadership that has experienced the vicissitudes of time and knows how to deal with them.
He indicated that the illusion of borrowed and false strength, and seeking help from the enemies of the nation, will only bring destruction to the agents of imamate, advocates of backwardness, and agents of evil in the region. He stated that we in the legitimacy assure them that the "Dawn of Yemen" will continue until it achieves its goal and purpose, and that the oppression inflicted by this rebellious gang on the Yemeni people will not last long, "and those who have wronged will know to what end they will turn."
