استحوذت تطورات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة على اهتمامات الصحف العالمية، خصوصا الزيارات المكوكية لكبار المسؤولين الأمريكيين إلى تل أبيب. وأفادت مجلة «فورين أفيرز» الأمريكية بأن هناك عاملين اثنين قالت إنهما ضروريان لحل الأزمة الإنسانية في غزة، وهما تفعيل دور وكالات الأمم المتحدة، واستخدام النفوذ الأمريكي.
ورأت أن أسرع وسيلة لإيصال المساعدات إلى جميع مناطق غزة هي الاعتماد على خبرة وكالات الأمم المتحدة، لافتا إلى ضرورة حشد دعم دبلوماسي فعال لن تضمنه إلا الولايات المتحدة.
وأكدت صحيفة «معاريف» أن تكثيف زيارات المسؤولين الأمريكيين إلى تل أبيب يهدف إلى تطويق رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو ومنعه من تخريب اتفاق وقف إطلاق الحرب الهش مع حركة حماس في غزة.
وشبهت تلك الزيارات بـ«جسر جوي أمريكي»، مؤكدة أن هذا التدخل العميق يرجع إلى القلق من نيات شركاء نتنياهو السياسيين الذين يعارضون إنهاء الحرب.
ولفتت إلى أن الأمريكيين يحافظون رسميا على ما أسمته «كرامة نتنياهو» من خلال نفيهم هذه الادعاءات والقول إن الزيارات الأمريكية تهدف إلى «الإشراف على عمل ضخم لا على طفل صغير»، وفق تعبيرهم.
وتناولت صحيفة «غارديان» انتقاد نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جيه دي فانس تصويت الكنيست الإسرائيلي على ضم الضفة الغربية، واعتبرت الموافقة على طرح مشروع القانون للتصويت كان محرجا لنتنياهو الذي حث نواب حزب الليكود على الامتناع عن التصويت لصالحه.
ولفت التقرير إلى أن العديد من المسؤولين في إدارة ترمب دعموا إلى وقت قريب مساعي إسرائيل لضم الضفة الغربية، لكن الموقف الأمريكي تغير بعد إعلان اتفاق وقف الحرب في غزة.
ودعت صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت» الإسرائيلية إلى عدم الاستخفاف بتهديدات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب للقضاء على حركة حماس في غزة، لكن مع رسائل أمريكية أخرى مفادها بأن «الصفقة حية والصبر مطلوب».
واعتبرت أن مجرد بناء مركز قيادة أمريكي في إسرائيل يُعد اختراقا حقيقيا، ويشير إلى التزام أمريكي طويل الأمد لتحقيق الاستقرار في غزة.
وتحدثت الصحيفة عن مخاوف لدى المؤسسة العسكرية الإسرائيلية من أن يستمر انسحاب الجيش من غزة لصالح قوة دولية غير محددة، إذ سيحد وجود تلك القوة من حرية عمل القوات الإسرائيلية في قطاع غزة، حسب المقال.

It likened these visits to an "American air bridge," asserting that this deep intervention stems from concerns about the intentions of Netanyahu's political partners who oppose ending the war.
It pointed out that the Americans are officially maintaining what they called "Netanyahu's dignity" by denying these allegations and stating that the American visits aim to "oversee a massive operation, not a small child," as they put it.
The newspaper "Guardian" addressed Vice President J.D. Vance's criticism of the Israeli Knesset's vote on annexing the West Bank, considering the approval to put the bill to a vote embarrassing for Netanyahu, who urged Likud party members to abstain from voting in favor of it.
The report noted that many officials in the Trump administration had supported Israel's efforts to annex the West Bank until recently, but the American stance changed after the announcement of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
