أعلنت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية اليوم (الخميس) فرض عقوبات على مسؤولين في السلطة ومنظمة التحرير الفلسطينيتين، متهمة إياهم باتخاذ خطوات «لتدويل نزاعهما مع إسرائيل».
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية في بيان منع منح تأشيرات لأعضاء منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية ومسؤولي السلطة، متهمة إياهم بـ«مواصلة دعم الإرهاب، بما في ذلك من خلال التحريض على العنف وتمجيده».
وادعت الخارجية الأمريكية أن العقوبات على السلطة الفلسطينية جاءت بسبب تدويلها للصراع مع إسرائيل، وقالت الخارجية الأمريكية في بيان: «من مصلحتنا الأمنية الوطنية فرض عقوبات ومحاسبة منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية والسلطة الفلسطينية على عدم وفائهما بالتزاماتهما وتقويض آفاق السلام»، مشيرة إلى أنهم يدعمون إجراءات داخل منظمات دولية تقوض وتتناقض مع الالتزامات السابقة.
وكان المتحدث باسم الرئاسة الفلسطينية نبيل أبو ردينة قد قال إن مؤتمر حل الدولتين بالأمم المتحدة بدأ يُعطي نتائج إيجابية وهناك أخبار مشجعة حول اعتزام دول أوروبية الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين، مثمناً الموقف السعودي والعربي المساند للقضية الفلسطينية.
من جهة أخرى، حملت وزارة لداخلية الفلسطينية في غزة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مسؤولية نشر الفوضى ورعاية شبكات اللصوص والبلطجية للسيطرة على المساعدات، مؤكدة أن الاحتلال استهدف شباب العشائر الذين أخذوا على عاتقهم تأمين المساعدات وقتل منهم العشرات.
وأشارت إلى أن الاحتلال اتبع نهج استهداف منتسبي أجهزة وزارة الداخلية أثناء القيام بواجبهم في تأمين المساعدات، محذرة من استمرار عمليات الإسقاط الجوي للمساعدات لما تمثله من خطورة على حياة المواطنين.
بالمقابل، قالت هيئة البث الإسرائيلية إن جيش الاحتلال قرر سحب لواءي الاحتياط 646 و179 من قطاع غزة.

The United States of America announced today (Thursday) sanctions against officials in the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization, accusing them of taking steps "to internationalize their conflict with Israel."
The U.S. State Department confirmed in a statement the denial of visas to members of the Palestine Liberation Organization and officials of the Authority, accusing them of "continuing to support terrorism, including through incitement to violence and glorification of it."
The U.S. State Department claimed that the sanctions on the Palestinian Authority came due to its internationalization of the conflict with Israel, stating in a statement: "It is in our national security interest to impose sanctions and hold the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority accountable for failing to meet their obligations and undermining the prospects for peace," noting that they support actions within international organizations that undermine and contradict previous commitments.
The spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, stated that the UN two-state solution conference has begun to yield positive results and there are encouraging news about European countries' intentions to recognize the State of Palestine, praising the supportive Saudi and Arab stance on the Palestinian cause.
On the other hand, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Gaza held the Israeli occupation responsible for spreading chaos and sponsoring networks of thieves and thugs to control the aid, confirming that the occupation targeted the youth of the clans who took it upon themselves to secure the aid, killing dozens of them.
It pointed out that the occupation has followed a policy of targeting members of the Ministry of Interior while they are performing their duty in securing the aid, warning of the continued aerial drops of aid due to the danger they represent to the lives of citizens.
In contrast, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the occupation army decided to withdraw reserve brigades 646 and 179 from the Gaza Strip.
