باشرت الشرطة الدنماركية اليوم (الخميس) فحص طرد مشبوه وصل إلى السفارة الإسرائيلية في حي هيليروب بالعاصمة كوبنهاغن، وبحسب شرطة كوبنهاغن فإنها تحقق في «وضع مريب».
وذكرت الشركة على حسابها في «إكس» أنها تجري فحصا دقيقا لطرد تم استلامه في المنطقة، مبينة أنها فرضت طوقاً أمنياً في شارع ريفانغس آليه، بالإضافة إلى الشوارع السكنية الواقعة شرقه وصولا إلى شارع سفانيموليفاي.
وقال رئيس المناوبة في شرطة كوبنهاغن، أندرس فريدريكسن، لصحيفة «إكسترا بلادِت»، إن بلاغا بشأن الطرد الغامض ورد إلى السلطات الساعة 11:05 صباحا، مبينا أن المواطنين في المنطقة لا ينبغي أن يشعروا بالقلق.
وأشار إلى أن الوضع مطمئن تحت السيطرة، ورغم أن السلطات ترفض الإفصاح عن مزيد من المعلومات، إلا أن وسائل إعلام دنماركية أظهرت صورا التقطت من شارع لوندفانغسفاي أن هناك مشاركة من جهات رسمية أخرى ضمن العملية.
وعرضت الفيديوهات المتدولة أن سيارات للشرطة وأخرى تابعة لجهاز الطوارئ في العاصمة، إلى جانب سيارة إسعاف تتواجد في المنطقة التي توجد فيها السفارة.
وكانت إسرائيل قد أعلنت أثناء الحرب مع إيران إغلاق سفاراتها في أنحاء العالم وحثت مواطنيها على اليقظة وعدم إظهار الرموز اليهودية أو الإسرائيلية في الأماكن العامة وذلك في إطار مخاوفها من أعمال عدائية.
وكان اثنان من موظفي السفارة الإسرائيلية في واشنطن قد قتلا في مايو الماضي بالقرب من المتحف اليهودي في العاصمة الأمريكية.
The Danish police began today (Thursday) examining a suspicious package that arrived at the Israeli embassy in the Hellerup neighborhood of the capital, Copenhagen. According to the Copenhagen police, they are investigating a "suspicious situation."
The police stated on their account on "X" that they are conducting a thorough examination of the package received in the area, indicating that they have imposed a security cordon on Riffangs Alley, in addition to the residential streets to the east leading up to Svanemollevai Street.
The duty officer at the Copenhagen police, Anders Frederiksen, told the newspaper "Ekstra Bladet" that a report regarding the mysterious package was received by the authorities at 11:05 AM, noting that citizens in the area should not feel worried.
He pointed out that the situation is reassuring and under control, and although the authorities refuse to disclose further information, Danish media have shown photos taken from Lundvangsvej Street indicating that there is participation from other official entities in the operation.
The circulating videos displayed police cars and others belonging to the emergency services in the capital, along with an ambulance present in the area where the embassy is located.
Israel had announced during the war with Iran the closure of its embassies around the world and urged its citizens to be vigilant and not to display Jewish or Israeli symbols in public places due to concerns about hostile acts.
Two employees of the Israeli embassy in Washington were killed last May near the Jewish museum in the American capital.
