أطلقت شركة تكنولوجيات استكشاف الفضاء الأمريكية «سبيس إكس» 29 قمراً صناعياً من طراز «ستارلينك» إلى الفضاء.
وذكرت الشركة، في بيان، أن صاروخ «فالكون 9» انطلق من قاعدة «كيب كانافيرال» للقوات الجوية في ولاية فلوريدا الأمريكية، حاملاً الأقمار الصناعية إلى مدار أرضي منخفض، حيث تم نشرها بعد نحو 61.5 دقيقة من الإقلاع.
وأضاف البيان أن المرحلة الأولى من الصاروخ عادت إلى الأرض بنجاح بعد نحو ثماني دقائق من الإطلاق، وهبطت على منصة مسيّرة تابعة لشركة «سبيس إكس» كانت متمركزة في المحيط الأطلسي.
ويُعد هذا الإطلاق والهبوط المهمة رقم 30 لهذا الصاروخ، الذي يحمل الرمز «B1078».
ويُعد مشروع «ستارلينك» أكبر كوكبة أقمار صناعية جُمعت حتى الآن، إذ يضم أكثر من 10 آلاف قمر صناعي تعمل ضمن شبكة تغطي معظم أنحاء العالم، وتوفر خدمة إنترنت عالية السرعة.
The American space exploration company "SpaceX" has launched 29 "Starlink" satellites into space.
The company stated in a press release that the "Falcon 9" rocket launched from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, carrying the satellites into low Earth orbit, where they were deployed approximately 61.5 minutes after liftoff.
The statement added that the first stage of the rocket successfully returned to Earth about eight minutes after launch, landing on a drone ship operated by "SpaceX" that was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
This launch and landing mark the 30th mission for this rocket, which bears the designation "B1078".
The "Starlink" project is the largest constellation of satellites ever assembled, consisting of over 10,000 satellites operating within a network that covers most parts of the world, providing high-speed internet service.
