رحبت مصر بإعلان الرئيس الأمريكى دونالد ترمب التوصل لوقف إطلاق النار بين إيران وإسرائيل اليوم 24 يونيو 2025، مُشددة عبر بيان رسمي صادر عن وزارة خارجيتها، على أن وقف إطلاق النار تطور جوهري نحو احتواء التصعيد الخطير الذي شهدته المنطقة خلال الأيام الأخيرة، ومن شأنه أن يشكل نقطة تحول مهمة نحو إنهاء المواجهة العسكرية بين البلدين واستعادة الهدوء بالمنطقة.
وأكدت مصر، أن هذه الخطوة تمثل فرصة حقيقية لوقف دائرة التصعيد والهجمات المتبادلة، وتهيئة البيئة المواتية لاستئناف الجهود السياسية والدبلوماسية، داعيًة الطرفين الإسرائيلي والإيراني بالالتزام الكامل بوقف إطلاق النار، وممارسة أقصى درجات ضبط النفس خلال هذه المرحلة الدقيقة، واتخاذ الإجراءات التي تسهم في تحقيق التهدئة وخفض التصعيد، بما يحافظ على أمن واستقرار المنطقة وسلامة شعوبها.
وأضاف بيان الخارجية المصرية: وإذ تثمن مصر هذه الخطوة المهمة نحو التهدئة، فإنها لطالما دعت إلى وقف إطلاق النار وخفض التصعيد خلال اتصالاتها المباشرة المكثفة مع جميع الأطراف المعنية الإقليمية والدولية بما في ذلك أطراف الصراع على مدار الأسابيع الماضية، وتؤكد استمرارها في بذل جهودها الدبلوماسية، بالتنسيق مع الشركاء الإقليميين والدوليين، لتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار ودعم مسار التهدئة، وصولًا إلى تسوية شاملة ومستدامة للأزمات التي تهدد استقرار المنطقة.
وجدت مصر التأكيد على أن القضية الفلسطينية تظل لب الصراع فى المنطقة وأن تسويتها بشكل عادل وشامل يحقق التطلعات الشرعية للشعب الفلسطينى ويعد البديل الوحيد لتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار المستدام فى المنطقة والعالم من خلال إقامة الدولة المستقلة على خطوط 4 يونيو 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
Egypt welcomed the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the ceasefire between Iran and Israel today, June 24, 2025, emphasizing through an official statement issued by its Foreign Ministry that the ceasefire is a significant development towards containing the serious escalation witnessed in the region in recent days, and it could represent an important turning point towards ending the military confrontation between the two countries and restoring calm in the region.
Egypt confirmed that this step represents a genuine opportunity to halt the cycle of escalation and mutual attacks, and to create a favorable environment for resuming political and diplomatic efforts, calling on both the Israeli and Iranian sides to fully commit to the ceasefire and exercise the utmost restraint during this critical phase, and to take measures that contribute to achieving de-escalation and reducing tensions, thereby preserving the security and stability of the region and the safety of its peoples.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry's statement added: While Egypt appreciates this important step towards de-escalation, it has long called for a ceasefire and de-escalation during its intensive direct communications with all relevant regional and international parties, including the parties to the conflict over the past weeks, and it reaffirms its continued diplomatic efforts, in coordination with regional and international partners, to solidify the ceasefire and support the de-escalation process, leading to a comprehensive and sustainable resolution of the crises threatening the stability of the region.
Egypt emphasized that the Palestinian issue remains the core of the conflict in the region and that a just and comprehensive resolution that meets the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people is the only alternative for achieving lasting security and stability in the region and the world through the establishment of an independent state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
