أمير الشرقية: المسؤولية البيئية مشتركة تتطلب مساهمة المجتمع

The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, received today (Sunday) in his office at the Emirate's Diwan, the head of the branch of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification in the Eastern Province, Yusuf bin Mohammed Al-Badr, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza.

The Prince of the Eastern Province emphasized that the leadership places great importance on environmental issues, given the significance of environmental sustainability for future generations, noting that environmental responsibility is a shared national duty that requires the contribution of all individuals and institutions in society.

Yusuf bin Mohammed Al-Badr presented a report on the center's efforts and future plans. The Prince of the region also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the center's branch and the Eastern Chamber, which aims to enhance institutional partnership in implementing environmental and community programs, and to support awareness and volunteer activities in the fields of afforestation, preserving natural resources, and developing vegetation cover in various cities and governorates of the region. The memorandum was signed by the branch head, Yusuf Al-Badr, on behalf of the center, and by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Badr Al-Raziza, on behalf of the Eastern Chamber.
