وزير العدل رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة السعودية للمحامين الدكتور وليد الصمعاني أكد أن هذه التعديلات تأتي ضمن مسار متكامل لرفع كفاءة الأنظمة العدلية وتعزيز العدالة والموثوقية، مشددا على أن مهنة المحاماة تمثل ركيزة أساسية في تحقيق العدالة وصون الحقوق. وأضاف أن التعديلات توفر بيئة تنظيمية عادلة ومحفزة، تدعم الثقة في المهنة، وتدفع عجلة النمو والاستثمار، وتخدم المستفيدين بجودة عالية، بما يعكس التقدم المستمر في مستوى الاحتراف القانوني.
وفي سياق متصل، أوضح المحامي السعودي كاتب الشمري أن مهنة المحاماة في المملكة تمر بمرحلة تطوير متسارعة، من خلال تحديث الأنظمة والقوانين ورفع كفاءة المحامين بما يواكب المتغيرات، فيما أكدت المحامية عذوق الشهيل، وهي من أوائل الممارسين في المملكة، أن المحاماة تعد من المهن المرموقة التي تسهم في حماية الحقوق وتقديم الاستشارات وتمثيل الأفراد أمام القضاء، مشيدة بالدور الذي تضطلع به رؤية ولي العهد في جعل المهنة في طليعة المجالات الداعمة للتطور القانوني.
وتشير المعلومات إلى أن دراسة هذه التعديلات جرت بالتنسيق بين الهيئة السعودية للمحامين والجهات ذات العلاقة، بهدف رفع مستوى التأهيل المهني وتعزيز الالتزام بالمعايير الأخلاقية والمهنية، بما يرسخ بيئة عدلية متقدمة تدعم جودة الممارسة القانونية وتلبي احتياجات التطور التشريعي في المملكة.
In a move that reflects the ongoing approach to developing the judicial system and enhancing the practices of the legal profession, the Saudi Cabinet, during its weekly session held in the city of Neom and chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, approved amendments to some articles of the regulation of the Saudi Bar Association.
The Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Bar Association, Dr. Walid Al-Samaani, confirmed that these amendments are part of a comprehensive path to raise the efficiency of judicial systems and enhance justice and reliability, emphasizing that the legal profession represents a fundamental pillar in achieving justice and safeguarding rights. In a related context, Saudi lawyer Kattab Al-Shammari explained that the legal profession in the Kingdom is undergoing a rapid development phase through updating systems and laws and enhancing the efficiency of lawyers to keep pace with changes. Meanwhile, lawyer Atheeq Al-Shuhail, one of the early practitioners in the Kingdom, affirmed that lawyering is one of the prestigious professions that contribute to protecting rights, providing consultations, and representing individuals before the judiciary, praising the role played by the Crown Prince's vision in placing the profession at the forefront of fields supporting legal development.
