كشفت ولاية ريزة التركية في بيان رسمي عن ملابسات الحادثة التي وثّقها مقطع فيديو، يظهر اعتداء مجموعة من المواطنين الأتراك على سائح سعودي في منطقة مرتفعات آيدر التابعة لقضاء تشاملي همشين.
وأوضح البيان إن ما جرى يُعد حادثة فردية لا تعكس طبيعة المنطقة ولا سلوك سكانها، مشيرة إلى أن الواقعة بدأت بمشادّة كلامية قصيرة تطورت إلى توتر محدود، قبل أن يتم احتواء الموقف سريعاً بفضل تدخل عناصر الشرطة وبعض المواطنين.
وأشار البيان إلى أن الحادثة لم تسفر عن أية إصابات جسدية، ولم تُسجّل أي شكاوى قانونية من أي من الطرفين، موضحاً -حسب ماورد في البيان- أن ما حصل لا يحمل أي طابع عدائي أو سلوك تمييزي تجاه الأجانب.
وأثار مقطع الفيديو المتداول، الذي يظهر اعتداء مجموعة من الأشخاص على سائح سعودي في مرتفعات آيدر في ولاية ريزة، موجة واسعة من الغضب والاستنكار في الأوساط السعودية والعربية.
ودعا عدد كبير من المعلقين عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي إلى فتح تحقيق عاجل لتحديد هوية المعتدين ومحاسبتهم، مؤكدين أهمية توفير الحماية الكاملة للسياح وضمان سلامتهم، خصوصا في ظل تكرار حوادث مماثلة في تركيا خلال السنوات الماضية.
The Turkish province of Rize revealed in an official statement the circumstances of the incident documented in a video, which shows a group of Turkish citizens attacking a Saudi tourist in the Ayder Highlands area of the Çamlıhemşin district.
The statement clarified that what occurred is considered an isolated incident that does not reflect the nature of the area or the behavior of its residents, noting that the incident began with a brief verbal altercation that escalated into limited tension, before the situation was quickly contained thanks to the intervention of police officers and some citizens.
The statement indicated that the incident did not result in any physical injuries, and no legal complaints were filed by either party, explaining - according to what was stated in the statement - that what happened does not carry any hostile nature or discriminatory behavior towards foreigners.
The circulated video, which shows a group of individuals attacking a Saudi tourist in the Ayder Highlands in Rize province, has sparked widespread anger and condemnation in Saudi and Arab circles.
A large number of commentators on social media called for an urgent investigation to identify the assailants and hold them accountable, emphasizing the importance of providing full protection for tourists and ensuring their safety, especially in light of the recurrence of similar incidents in Turkey over the past years.
