انطلقت اليوم في مدينة إسطنبول التركية، أعمال الجناح السعودي الذي تنظّمه الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية في معرض الصناعات الدفاعية الدولي «آيدف 2025»، وتشارك فيه أكثر من (10) جهات من القطاعين العام والخاص في الفترة من 22 إلى 27 يوليو الجاري، في حين يعد المعرض من أهم وأبرز المعارض المتخصصة في مجال الصناعات العسكرية على مستوى العالم، ويستعرض العديد من المنتجات والقدرات الصناعية الوطنية.
وافتتح محافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد بن عبدالعزيز العوهلي، الجناح السعودي، بحضور مساعد وزير الدفاع للشؤون التنفيذية الدكتور خالد بن حسين البياري، والرؤساء التنفيذيين للشركات السعودية المشاركة في الجناح، وكبار المسؤولين العسكريين والخبراء والمتخصصين من مختلف دول العالم، كما اطلع معاليه وأصحاب المعالي والحضور خلال جولتهم في الجناح السعودي على أحدث المنتجات، والقدرات الصناعية العسكرية، والتقنيات المتقدّمة في مختلف مجالات الصناعات العسكرية.
ويسعى الجناح السعودي إلى إبراز التطور النوعي الذي تشهده الصناعات العسكرية في المملكة العربية السعودية، ويستعرض أحدث الأنظمة والتقنيات الدفاعية المتقدمة، لاستكشاف آفاق التعاون مع كبرى الشركات العالمية، بمشاركة أكثر من (10) جهات وطنية من القطاعين العام والخاص إلى جانب الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية (GAMI)، متمثلة في الهيئة العامة للتطوير الدفاعي (GADD)، والشركة السعودية للصناعات العسكرية (SAMI)، والشركة الوطنية للأنظمة الميكانيكية (NCMS)، وشركة الإسناد للصناعة (AL-Esnad)، والشركة الكيميائية السعودية المحدودة (SCCL)، وشركة خدمة راي للتصنيع (RMC)، وشركة إنترا للتقنيات الدفاعية (INTRA)، والشركة السعودية لتهيئة وصيانة الطائرات (GDC Middle East)، وشركة قدرة الصناعية (Qudra Industrial)، وشركة الرواد للأنظمة (Pioneers Systems)، إضافةً إلى معرض الدفاع العالمي (WDS).
وأكد محافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد بن عبدالعزيز العوهلي، أن مشاركة المملكة في معرض «آيدف 2025» تأتي في إطار تعزيز مكانتها مركزاً إقليميًّاً رائداً في الصناعات العسكرية، وتفعيل الشراكات الدولية لتمكين قطاع الصناعات العسكرية في المملكة، واستقطاب الاستثمارات النوعية التي تسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 بتوطين ما يزيد عن (50%) من الإنفاق الحكومي على المعدات والخدمات العسكرية بحلول عام 2030، مشيراً إلى أن الجناح السعودي يمثل منصة مهمة لعرض التقدم الكبير الذي حققته الشركات الوطنية في تطوير منتجات وتقنيات دفاعية مبتكرة، ويعكس التزام المملكة بتعزيز التعاون مع الشركاء الدوليين لتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي.
ويستعرض الجناح السعودي على مدى أيام المعرض أبرز المنتجات والقدرات الصناعية العسكرية التي تعكس جهود تمكين الصناعات العسكرية بالمملكة، وتستعرض الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية دورها ومهماتها وأولوياتها الوطنية، والسياسات والتشريعات التنظيمية، والحوافز ورحلة المستثمر، ويشهد الجناح السعودي العديد من اللقاءات الثنائية والاجتماعات مع الشركات والوفود الدولية المشاركة في المعرض؛ بهدف تبادل الخبرات ونقل المعرفة.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة تأكيداً للدور المتنامي للمملكة في قطاع الصناعات العسكرية، وحرص الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية على دعم وتمكين الشركات الوطنية وتعزيز قدرتها التنافسية على الساحة الدولية، بما يخدم أهداف الأمن الوطني والتنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة.
Today in Istanbul, Turkey, the Saudi pavilion organized by the General Authority for Military Industries launched its activities at the International Defense Industries Exhibition "IDF 2025," with participation from more than (10) entities from the public and private sectors from July 22 to 27. The exhibition is considered one of the most important and prominent specialized exhibitions in the field of military industries worldwide, showcasing numerous national industrial products and capabilities.
The Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, inaugurated the Saudi pavilion, attended by the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, the CEOs of the participating Saudi companies, and senior military officials, experts, and specialists from various countries around the world. During their tour of the Saudi pavilion, His Excellency and the attendees were briefed on the latest products, military industrial capabilities, and advanced technologies in various fields of military industries.
The Saudi pavilion aims to highlight the qualitative development witnessed in military industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, showcasing the latest advanced defense systems and technologies to explore cooperation opportunities with major global companies, with participation from more than (10) national entities from the public and private sectors alongside the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), represented by the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI), the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS), Al-Esnad Manufacturing Company (AL-Esnad), the Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), Raytheon Manufacturing Company (RMC), Intra Defense Technologies Company (INTRA), the Saudi Company for Aircraft Maintenance and Preparation (GDC Middle East), Qudra Industrial Company (Qudra Industrial), and Pioneers Systems Company (Pioneers Systems), in addition to the World Defense Show (WDS).
Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, confirmed that the Kingdom's participation in the "IDF 2025" exhibition comes within the framework of enhancing its position as a leading regional hub in military industries, activating international partnerships to empower the military industries sector in the Kingdom, and attracting quality investments that contribute to achieving the objectives of Vision 2030 by localizing more than (50%) of government spending on military equipment and services by 2030. He pointed out that the Saudi pavilion represents an important platform to showcase the significant progress made by national companies in developing innovative defense products and technologies, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing cooperation with international partners to achieve regional and international security and stability.
Throughout the exhibition days, the Saudi pavilion will showcase the most prominent military industrial products and capabilities that reflect efforts to empower military industries in the Kingdom. The General Authority for Military Industries will present its role, missions, national priorities, regulatory policies and legislation, incentives, and the investor journey. The Saudi pavilion will witness numerous bilateral meetings and discussions with participating international companies and delegations at the exhibition, aiming to exchange experiences and transfer knowledge.
This participation reaffirms the growing role of the Kingdom in the military industries sector and the General Authority for Military Industries' commitment to supporting and empowering national companies, enhancing their competitiveness on the international stage, in line with national security objectives and sustainable economic development.
