قبضت دوريات الأمن بالعاصمة المقدسة على مقيم من الجنسية الإندونيسية لارتكابه عمليات نصب واحتيال بنشر إعلانات حملات حج وهمية ومضللة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بتوفير سكن ونقل للحجاج داخل المشاعر المقدسة، وأُوقف واتُخذت الإجراءات النظامية بحقه، وأُحيل إلى النيابة العامة.
وأهاب الأمن العام بالمواطنين والمقيمين إلى الالتزام بأنظمة وتعليمات الحج، والإبلاغ عمن يخالف ذلك بالاتصال بالرقمين (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية و(999) في بقية مناطق المملكة.
The security patrols in the holy capital arrested a resident of Indonesian nationality for committing fraud by posting fake and misleading advertisements for pilgrimage campaigns on social media, offering accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites. He was detained, and legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the public prosecution.
The public security urged citizens and residents to adhere to the regulations and instructions of the pilgrimage and to report any violations by calling the numbers (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
