أعلنت رئاسة الشؤون الدينية بالمسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي، صدور موافقة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، على أن يتولى إمام وخطيب المسجد الحرام الشيخ الدكتور صالح بن عبدالله بن حميد، إلقاء خطبة عرفة لحج هذا العام.
ورفع رئيس الشؤون الدينية بالمسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي الشيخ الدكتور عبدالرحمن السديس، باسمه واسم أئمة وخطباء ومؤذني الحرمين الشريفين، الشكر والتقدير لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده الأمين؛ بمناسبة الموافقة على أن يتولى الشيخ صالح بن حميد، خطبة يوم عرفة لحج هذا العام، ما يؤكد اهتمام القيادة الحكيمة بما يمثله الحرمان الشريفان والمنبر من أهمية في إيصال رسالة الإسلام الوسطية للإنسانية، وانطلاقاً من قيمة ومكانة الحرمين الشريفين في أفئدة المسلمين بجميع أنحاء العالم.
The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque announced the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, for Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, to deliver the Arafah sermon for this year's Hajj.
Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the head of religious affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, expressed his gratitude and appreciation, on behalf of himself and the imams, preachers, and muezzins of the two holy mosques, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince; on the occasion of the approval for Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid to deliver the Arafah sermon for this year's Hajj. This reflects the wise leadership's concern for the significance of the two holy mosques and the pulpit in conveying the moderate message of Islam to humanity, and stems from the value and status of the two holy mosques in the hearts of Muslims around the world.
