عُقد في جامعة نيوكاسل البريطانية، مؤتمر (SUSE 2025) تحت إشراف الملحقية الثقافية السعودية في المملكة المتحدة، بمشاركة متميزة من الطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين في التخصصات العلمية، والهندسية، والحاسوبية من مختلف الجامعات البريطانية.
وشهد المؤتمر جلسات علمية ونقاشات أكاديمية متخصصة، حيث عكست البحوث والأطروحات المعروضة ما يتمتع به الطلبة السعوديون من مستوى علمي متميز، وروح ابتكارية تنسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، في مجالات التعليم والبحث والتطوير.
وتضمّنت فعاليات المؤتمر جلسةً حواريةً بعنوان: «البحث العلمي المدفوع بالتقنية: تكامل الذكاء الاصطناعي والبيانات والأنظمة الهندسية»، ناقش خلالها عددٌ من الأكاديميين والباحثين أدوار التقنيات الحديثة في تشكيل مستقبل البحث العلمي، إضافةً إلى جلسة الملصقات العلمية التي عرضت مشاريع بحثية مبتكرة في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي، وعلوم المواد، والطاقة المتجددة، والأمن السيبراني، وعددٍ من التخصصات الحيوية الأخرى.
وأكّد رئيس المؤتمر أنس الثبيتي، أنّ مؤتمر (SUSE 2025) يُجسِّد صورة مشرّفة للطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين، ويعكس التزامهم العلمي وإسهامهم الفاعل في دفع عجلة الابتكار والمعرفة، مشيرًا إلى أنّ المؤتمر يشكّل منصة فاعلة؛ لتعزيز التواصل الأكاديمي، وتأهيل جيل متميز من الباحثين السعوديين القادرين على المنافسة.

A conference titled (SUSE 2025) was held at Newcastle University in the UK, under the supervision of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom, with distinguished participation from Saudi students on scholarships in scientific, engineering, and computing disciplines from various British universities.
The conference featured scientific sessions and specialized academic discussions, where the research and presentations showcased the outstanding academic level of Saudi students and their innovative spirit, aligning with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the fields of education, research, and development.
The conference activities included a panel discussion titled: "Technology-Driven Scientific Research: Integrating Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Engineering Systems," during which several academics and researchers discussed the roles of modern technologies in shaping the future of scientific research. Additionally, there was a scientific poster session that presented innovative research projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, materials science, renewable energy, cybersecurity, and several other vital disciplines.
The conference president, Anas Al-Thubaiti, emphasized that the (SUSE 2025) conference embodies an honorable image of Saudi students on scholarships and reflects their scientific commitment and active contribution to advancing innovation and knowledge. He pointed out that the conference serves as an effective platform to enhance academic communication and prepare a distinguished generation of Saudi researchers capable of competing.
