أدان البرلمان العربي بأشد العبارات استهداف ناقلة الغاز الطبيعي المسال «المايدة»، التابعة لشركة قطر لنقل الغاز المحدودة «ناقلات»، أثناء إبحارها في مياه الخليج العربي، مؤكدًا أن مثل هذه الاعتداءات تمثل تهديدًا خطيرًا لأمن المنطقة، وسلامة الملاحة البحرية، وأمن إمدادات الطاقة العالمية.
تضامن كامل
وأكد البرلمان العربي، في بيان له، تضامنه الكامل مع دولة قطر، ودعمه لكل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحماية أمنها وسلامة ناقلاتها البحرية وتأمين تجارتها الدولية، مشددًا على ضرورة اضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسؤولياته في ضمان أمن الملاحة البحرية وسلامة التجارة الدولية، والتصدي لمثل هذه الاعتداءات وفقًا لقواعد القانون الدولي.
The Arab Parliament condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of the liquefied natural gas tanker "Al-Maida," belonging to Qatar Gas Transport Company Limited "Nakilat," while it was sailing in the waters of the Arabian Gulf, affirming that such attacks represent a serious threat to the security of the region, the safety of maritime navigation, and the security of global energy supplies.
Full Solidarity
The Arab Parliament, in a statement, affirmed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its support for all measures it takes to protect its security and the safety of its maritime tankers and to secure its international trade, emphasizing the necessity for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in ensuring the security of maritime navigation and the safety of international trade, and to confront such attacks in accordance with international law.
