نوّه أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد بما توليه القيادة من عناية واهتمام بحماية البيئة والمحافظة على الثروات الطبيعية، مؤكداً أن المكانة التي تمتلكها محمية عروق بني معارض، على قائمة (اليونسكو) بوصفها أول موقع للتراث الطبيعي في المملكة، تستوجب مضاعفة الجهود لصون الحياة الفطرية، وإنفاذ الأنظمة البيئية، وتعزيز التكامل مع الجهات ذات العلاقة للمحافظة عليها.
جاء ذلك خلال لقائه في مكتبه قائد القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي بالمحمية المقدم سعد بن عوض الوادعي، الذي قدّم تقرير القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي بمحمية عروق بني معارض للعام الهجري 1447، بحضور عدد من القيادات الإدارية بالقوة.
وثمّن الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز الجهود التي تبذلها القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي في حماية المحمية، والمحافظة على مواردها الطبيعية، وإنفاذ الأنظمة البيئية، مشيداً بما تحقق من منجزات أسهمت في تعزيز المحافظة على البيئة والحياة الفطرية.
وأكد أمير منطقة نجران أهمية تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بالمحافظة على الحياة الفطرية والموارد الطبيعية، والامتثال للأنظمة والتعليمات البيئية، مشيراً إلى أن حماية البيئة مسؤولية مشتركة تتطلب تكامل الجهود الرسمية والمجتمعية.
واطّلع أمير نجران على أبرز ما تضمنه التقرير من منجزات القوة وجهودها في حماية محمية عروق بني معارض، وضبط المخالفات البيئية، وتنفيذ الجولات المشتركة مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، إلى جانب تعزيز القدرات الأمنية والتقنية، والخطط المستقبلية.
من جانبه، أعرب الوادعي عن شكره لأمير منطقة نجران على دعمه واهتمامه، مؤكداً استمرار القوة في أداء مهماتها بما يحقق المحافظة على البيئة، وإنفاذ الأنظمة، وتعزيز التكامل مع الجهات ذات العلاقة.
أمير نجران يطّلع على تقرير القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي
The Emir of Najran, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, highlighted the attention and care that the leadership gives to environmental protection and the preservation of natural resources. He emphasized that the status of the Al-Uruq Bani Ma'arid Reserve on the UNESCO list as the first natural heritage site in the Kingdom necessitates doubling efforts to preserve wildlife, enforce environmental regulations, and enhance collaboration with relevant authorities to maintain it.
This came during his meeting in his office with the commander of the Special Forces for Environmental Security at the reserve, Major Saad bin Awad Al-Wad'i, who presented the report of the Special Forces for Environmental Security at the Al-Uruq Bani Ma'arid Reserve for the Hijri year 1447, in the presence of several administrative leaders of the force.
Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz appreciated the efforts made by the Special Forces for Environmental Security in protecting the reserve, preserving its natural resources, and enforcing environmental regulations, praising the achievements that contributed to enhancing the preservation of the environment and wildlife.
The Emir of Najran affirmed the importance of raising community awareness about preserving wildlife and natural resources, and complying with environmental regulations and instructions, pointing out that environmental protection is a shared responsibility that requires the integration of official and community efforts.
The Emir of Najran reviewed the key achievements included in the report regarding the force's efforts in protecting the Al-Uruq Bani Ma'arid Reserve, addressing environmental violations, conducting joint patrols with relevant authorities, as well as enhancing security and technical capabilities, and future plans.
For his part, Al-Wad'i expressed his gratitude to the Emir of Najran for his support and interest, affirming the force's continued commitment to fulfilling its duties in a manner that ensures environmental preservation, enforcement of regulations, and enhanced integration with relevant authorities.
