«الأرصاد»: أمطار رعدية على معظم مناطق المملكة

The National Center of Meteorology has predicted in its weather report for today (Wednesday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will continue, leading to the flow of torrents accompanied by hail showers in parts of the Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran regions. Its effects will extend to parts of the Riyadh and Eastern regions, especially the southern areas. Light rain is expected in parts of the Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, Ha'il, and Qassim regions, while active winds that stir up dust and sand will affect parts of those regions and parts of the Madinah region.

The surface winds in the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of (20 - 48) km/h in the northern and central parts, and at a speed of (15 - 38) km/h in the southern part. The wave height will range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part. The sea condition will be moderate in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate in the southern part.

As for the surface winds over the Arabian Gulf, they will be westerly to southwesterly at a speed of (15 - 30) km/h, shifting to easterly to northeasterly in the northern part after noon, and northwesterly to westerly at a speed of (20 - 45) km/h in the central and southern parts. The wave height will range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern part, and from one to two and a half meters in the central and southern parts. The sea condition will be light in the northern part, and moderate to rough in the central and southern parts.
