واصل الدولار الأمريكي صعوده مقابل الجنيه المصري مع استمرار التوترات الجيوسياسية التي تدفع إلى هروب المزيد من الأموال الساخنة من الأسواق الناشئة ومن بينها السوق المصرية.
وفي تعاملات اليوم، وفيما تشهد السوق حالة من الارتباك، فقد استقر سعر صرف الدولار لدى البنك المركزي المصري عند مستوى 52.97 جنيه للشراء، مقابل 53.11 جنيه للبيع.
ووفق إحصاء «العربية Business»، فقد جاء أعلى سعر لصرف الدولار في بنك التنمية الصناعية، عند مستوى 53.85 جنيه للشراء، و53.95 جنيه للبيع.
أقل سعر
وجاء أقل سعر لصرف الدولار الأمريكي في بنك القاهرة، عند مستوى 52.78 جنيه للشراء، مقابل 52.88 جنيه للبيع.
ولدى بنك مصر، والبنك العربي الأفريقي الدولي، بلغ سعر صرف الدولار نحو 53.76 جنيه للشراء، مقابل 53.86 جنيه للبيع.
وفي البنك الأهلي المصري، استقر سعر صرف الدولار عند مستوى 53.69 جنيه للشراء، و53.79 جنيه للبيع. ولدى البنك الأهلي الكويتي، والبنك المصري لتنمية الصادرات، استقر سعر صرف الدولار عند مستوى 53 جنيه للشراء، مقابل 53.10 جنيه للبيع.
الأموال الساخنة
ويأتي تراجع سعر الجنيه مقابل الدولار في وقت تشهد فيه الأموال الساخنة تقلبات ملحوظة؛ وبعد موجة بيع سجلت تعاملات العرب والأجانب في السوق الثانوية للدين الحكومي المصري أمس الأربعاء صافي شراء قدره 204 ملايين دولار خلال تعاملات أمس، بحسب بيانات البورصة المصرية.
وتأتي عودة الأموال الساخنة إلى أدوات الدين المصرية، بعد موجة تخارج استمرت يومين وسجلت صافي بيع قدره 558 مليون دولار.
وأدى خروج الأجانب من أدوات الدين المصرية إلى عودة الدولار الأمريكي للارتفاع مجدداً مقابل الجنيه.
The US dollar continued its rise against the Egyptian pound amid ongoing geopolitical tensions that are driving more hot money out of emerging markets, including the Egyptian market.
In today's trading, while the market is experiencing a state of confusion, the exchange rate of the dollar at the Central Bank of Egypt remained stable at 52.97 pounds for buying, compared to 53.11 pounds for selling.
According to "Al Arabiya Business" statistics, the highest exchange rate for the dollar was at the Industrial Development Bank, at 53.85 pounds for buying and 53.95 pounds for selling.
Lowest Price
The lowest exchange rate for the US dollar was at the Cairo Bank, at 52.78 pounds for buying, compared to 52.88 pounds for selling.
At Banque Misr and the Arab African International Bank, the exchange rate of the dollar reached about 53.76 pounds for buying, compared to 53.86 pounds for selling.
At the National Bank of Egypt, the exchange rate of the dollar remained at 53.69 pounds for buying and 53.79 pounds for selling. At the Kuwait National Bank and the Egyptian Export Development Bank, the exchange rate of the dollar remained at 53 pounds for buying, compared to 53.10 pounds for selling.
Hot Money
The decline in the pound's value against the dollar comes at a time when hot money is experiencing noticeable fluctuations; after a selling wave, the transactions of Arabs and foreigners in the secondary market for Egyptian government debt recorded a net purchase of 204 million dollars during yesterday's transactions, according to data from the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The return of hot money to Egyptian debt instruments follows a two-day exit wave that recorded a net sale of 558 million dollars.
The exit of foreigners from Egyptian debt instruments led to the US dollar rising again against the pound.
