نفى الفنان المصري عمرو سعد وجود أي خلاف بينه وبين المخرج محمد سامي.
ورد عمرو سعد في تصريحات إعلامية على الأنباء التي انتشرت عن وقوع خلاف بينه وبين محمد سامي قائلا: «محمد سامي لسه مكلمني وبيكلمني كل يوم في حاجات كتير جدا بتطلع وأنا لا التفت للسوشيال ميديا على الإطلاق».
وأضاف: «أنا بعتبر كل فنان مصري أو عربي كل واحد بيقدم قيمة حتى لو أنا مختلف معاه فوق دماغي لأن أهم حاجة بتأثر في وجدان الشعب هو الفن، فوق دماغي أي فنان حتى لو حاجته مش بتعجبني أنا طالما ليه جمهور وبيأثر في ناس دا حاجة كبيرة جدا حتى لو بيسليهم بس، أنا معنديش خالص صراعات من أي نوع مش بطلع في الإعلام كتير بحب اشتغل وبس وبالتالي كتير إشاعات بتطلع عني لكن معظمها مش صحيح».
وعن الأعلى أجرا بين النجوم، قال: «أنا مبعتبرش نفسي الأعلى أجرا ومعرفش زمايلي بياخدوا كام بس المنتجين بيقولولي إن أنا الأعلى أجرا، وأنا مش مهتم بالحكاية دي عمر ما ليا تصريح قلت إن أنا الأعلى أجرا وأعلى نسبة مشاهدة مع إن دا بيحصل من 4 سنين، لأني بعتبر أن المسلسل اللي عملته ونجح لحظة وعدت وبفكر في اللي جاي وأي نجاح بيحملني مسؤولية وأي فشل بيحملني مسؤولية، أنا راجل بعترف بحجم الحاجة اللي بعملها سواء نجحت أو فشلت عشان أبقى واقعي».

Regarding who is the highest-paid among the stars, he said: "I don't consider myself the highest-paid, and I don't know how much my colleagues earn, but producers tell me that I am the highest-paid. I am not concerned about this matter; I have never claimed that I am the highest-paid or have the highest viewership, even though that has been happening for four years. I consider that the series I made and succeeded in is a moment that has passed, and I think about what is coming. Any success carries responsibility, and any failure carries responsibility. I am a man who acknowledges the size of what I do, whether it succeeds or fails, to remain realistic."
