أعلنت الإعلامية اللبنانية ربى حبشي إصابتها بمرض السرطان للمرة الثانية، فعلى الهواء مباشرة عبر قناة «شمس» اختتمت ربى حبشي فقرتها برسالة وداع لجمهورها، كشفت فيها عودة المرض مجدداً لها، وأكدت أنها ستعود لجمهورها أقوى.
وقالت ربى حبشي: «وصلنا مشاهدينا إلى ختام حلقة اليوم لكن الخاتمة هذه المرة مختلفة لم أكن أتوقع أن أودعكم بهذه السرعة لا بسبب عرض عمل ولا حتى بسبب الانتقال إلى بلد آخر، بل بسبب إصابتي مجدداً بمرض السرطان».
وتابعت ربى: «علي الآن العودة إلى بلدي لبنان لبدء علاج جديد، أشكر من القلب قناة «شمس» على هذه الفرصة المهنية، وأشكر زملائي وإخوتي على كل الدعم، أنا رايحة بس راجعة أقوى بإذن الله».
وكانت ربى حبشي كشفت في وقت سابق إصابتها بسرطان الغدد اللمفاوية، ووصفت هذه التجربة الصعبة أنها جعلتها أكثر إيماناً بالحياة، وشاركت جمهورها برحلتها خلال العلاج حتى تعطيهم الأمل والقوة.
وربى حبشي إعلامية لبنانية تعمل في قناة «شمس» العراقية ومقرها أربيل، عملت في بدايتها صحفيةً، وبعدها عملت مراسلةً في القنوات، قدّمت عدداً من البرامج عبر قنوات عربية مختلفة.

Ruba Habchi said: "We have reached the end of today's episode, but this conclusion is different this time. I did not expect to say goodbye to you this quickly, not because of a job offer or even because of moving to another country, but because I have been diagnosed with cancer again."
She continued: "I now have to return to my country, Lebanon, to start a new treatment. I sincerely thank the 'Shams' channel for this professional opportunity, and I thank my colleagues and brothers for all the support. I am leaving, but I will return stronger, God willing."
Earlier, Ruba Habchi revealed her diagnosis of lymphoma, describing this difficult experience as one that has made her more faith-filled about life. She shared her journey during treatment with her audience to give them hope and strength.
Ruba Habchi is a Lebanese media personality working at the Iraqi "Shams" channel based in Erbil. She started her career as a journalist and later worked as a correspondent for various channels, presenting several programs across different Arab networks.
