أحالت جمعية المؤلفين والملحنين والناشرين المصرية، برئاسة الكاتب مدحت العدل، الملحن المصري المعروف بهاء حسني إلى التحقيق، بعد ثبوت استخدامه «أختاماً وتوقيعات مزيفة» في شكوى قدمها ضد الفنان الإماراتي حسين الجسمي.
وأصدرت الجمعية بياناً عبر الحساب الرسمي لمدحت العدل في «إنستغرام» تكشف تفاصيل الواقعة، حيث أكدت أنه تم بالفعل استلام الشكوى وأُحيلت إلى لجنة فنية مختصة وفق الإجراءات المتبعة، إلا أن المفاجأة جاءت بعد انتشار صيغة غير صحيحة لقرار اللجنة عبر منصات التواصل، التي تبين لاحقاً أنها محرَّفة ولم تُعرض على مجلس الإدارة مطلقاً.
وأوضح البيان أن تلك الصياغة المزورة تم إعدادها من قبل الملحن نفسه، حيث تحايل على أحد الموظفين للحصول على ختم الجمعية وتوقيعات بعض أعضاء اللجنة، ما يعد سلوكاً مخالفاً للائحة.
وتابع البيان: «وبناءً عليه، قرر رئيس الجمعية الدكتور مدحت العدل إحالة الملحن بهاء حسني، وكل مَن تثبت مشاركته من الموظفين في إعداد هذه الشهادة إلى التحقيق حفاظاً على الأمانة المهنية، واحتراماً للنظام المؤسّسي واللوائح المنظِّمة لعمل الجمعية».
واختتم البيان بالقول: «تؤكد الجمعية حرصها الدائم على احترام حقوق جميع أعضائها، والتزامها بمبادئ الشفافية والحيادية في التعامل مع أي شكوى أو نزاع، ورفضها التام لأي استغلال غير قانوني لاسم الجمعية أو شعاراتها».
The Egyptian Authors, Composers, and Publishers Association, headed by writer Medhat Adl, has referred the well-known Egyptian composer Bahaa Hosny for investigation after it was proven that he used "fake seals and signatures" in a complaint he filed against Emirati artist Hussain Al Jassmi.
The association issued a statement via Medhat Adl's official account on Instagram revealing the details of the incident, confirming that the complaint was indeed received and referred to a specialized technical committee according to the established procedures. However, the surprise came after an incorrect version of the committee's decision circulated on social media, which later turned out to be distorted and was never presented to the board of directors at all.
The statement clarified that this forged wording was prepared by the composer himself, as he deceived one of the employees to obtain the association's seal and the signatures of some committee members, which constitutes a violation of the regulations.
The statement continued: "Accordingly, the association's president, Dr. Medhat Adl, decided to refer composer Bahaa Hosny, and anyone proven to have participated from the employees in preparing this certificate, for investigation in order to maintain professional integrity and respect for the institutional system and the regulations governing the association's work."
The statement concluded by saying: "The association reaffirms its constant commitment to respecting the rights of all its members, its adherence to the principles of transparency and neutrality in dealing with any complaint or dispute, and its complete rejection of any illegal exploitation of the association's name or logos."
