The statements from the official spokesperson of the Support for Legitimacy Coalition sent a clear and unequivocal message to the terrorist Houthi militia and the regional entities behind it that manipulate its destructive tools in the region, emphasizing that "regional support for the Houthis will not go unnoticed." This is a clear declaration of the end of the tactical silence towards those who fuel terrorism, and a stern warning that the rules of engagement are defined in Riyadh according to its supreme interests and its legitimate right to defend itself and the resources of the entire region.
This firm Saudi stance recalls the historical and political saying of the Caliph of the Muslims, Harun al-Rashid, when he responded to the arrogance and breach of promises by "Niqfur, the King of the Romans," with a brief and decisive message: "The answer is what you see, not what you hear." Today, the Saudi leadership draws inspiration from this legacy in dealing with a militia that has completely subordinated its decision to external agendas, turning Yemeni geography into a platform for targeting civilian entities in actions that have no relation to religion, ethics, or international norms. The Kingdom does not engage in verbal wars through screens and statements; rather, it responds on the ground with practical deterrence that breaks the back of the aggressor and curtails the ambitions of its supporters.
Experiences have proven that tolerance towards agents of chaos does not yield peace, and turning a blind eye to the regional supply lines that fuel this terrorism is a neglect of the region's security. Thus, the Saudi response confirms that the bill is open, and every transgression has its price that will be paid sooner or later.
Anyone who thinks that Saudi Arabia's policy of restraint and its ongoing commitment to peace and regional stability is a blank check for provocation is reading history upside down and does not understand the doctrine and methodology of the Saudi state. Supporting Houthi terrorism is under scrutiny, and all options are on the table. The days will prove that the language of Saudi actions is more eloquent and impactful than all the fabricated noise.
Yes, we are advocates of peace and construction, but whenever we are called to deter the aggressor, we possess "the answer that is seen... not that which is heard."
