Our country is experiencing a significant economic boom as a result of "Vision 2030," and it has become a safe and attractive environment for investing both national and foreign capital. However, with large capital dominating the market, small projects are facing major challenges in competition and sustainability.
Among the pressures faced by small and micro enterprises are the excessively high rental values, which have caused many projects to falter, in addition to a recession in rental activity, affecting many commercial property owners who rely on rent as their primary source of income.
Therefore, I propose a partnership between small business owners and commercial property owners, whereby the property owner becomes a partner in the project's profits equivalent to the rent, at a rate ranging between 10% and 20% depending on the agreement, the size of the project, and the type of activity. This percentage would be deducted directly through "Mada" point-of-sale devices and transferred directly to the property owner's account. This will lead to:
First: Reducing the risk percentage and alleviating the rental burden from the tenant's shoulders.
Second: Reviving the rental market for commercial properties and pulling it out of stagnation.
Third: Increasing the activity of small and micro enterprises, especially in the retail sector, which provides job opportunities for Saudi youth.
Fourth: Increasing the interest in freelance work among young people after lifting the significant barrier (rent) from them, allowing them to realize their dreams and ambitions in establishing their investment projects.
