أطلقت الصين اليوم، قمرًا اصطناعيًا بحريًا جديدًا إلى المدار، من مركز «جيوتشيوان» لإطلاق الأقمار الاصطناعية شمال غرب الصين.
وأُطلق القمر الاصطناعي (هاييانغ-2 إي) الذي يبلغ وزنه 1500 كيلوغرام، على متن صاروخ حامل من طراز طلونغ مارش-4 بي، ونجح في إرسال القمر إلى المدار المخطط له.
وسيستخدم القمر (هاييانغ-2 إي) في رصد بيئة محيطات العالم، وقياس أمواجها ودرجات حرارتها ورياحها.
ويمثّل هذا الإطلاق المهمة الـ654 لسلسلة الصواريخ الحاملة من طراز لونغ مارش.
يُذكر أن المهمة رقم 653، من سلسلة صواريخ «لونغ مارش»، انطلقت في 23 يونيو الماضي، حاملة قمرًا صناعيًا مخصصًا للاختبارات التكنولوجية المتطورة.
China launched a new marine satellite into orbit today from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
The satellite (Haiyang-2E), weighing 1,500 kilograms, was launched aboard a Long March 4B carrier rocket and successfully placed the satellite into its planned orbit.
The (Haiyang-2E) satellite will be used to monitor the world's ocean environment, measuring its waves, temperatures, and winds.
This launch represents the 654th mission of the Long March rocket series.
It is worth noting that mission number 653 of the Long March rocket series was launched on June 23, carrying a satellite designated for advanced technology testing.
