- The governance system established by the Ministry of Sports has provided strong support and motivation for club administrations to work towards achieving the required quality standards, ensuring that the work is more professional, transparent, sustainable, and successful in the long term, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to elevate the sports sector.
- The question that arises is: the clubs that did not achieve the quality standards, and completely failed to obtain the deserved support based on their performance and achievements, will they continue despite their inability to meet the requirements of governance systems (for one cannot give what they do not have)? Why are they not held accountable?!
- The question here is why did (Ohod Club) fail to receive support from the Ministry of Sports? Certainly, the answer to this question is due to the failure to implement governance standards that would enable it to obtain the deserved support based on the announcement issued by the Ministry of Sports regarding the evaluation of the governance initiative for sports clubs in the second half of the last sports year, to the extent that it ended up at the bottom of the overall ranking.
- (Ohod Club for Basketball) was relegated to the first division of basketball, despite being the Gulf champion and the champion of the game in the Kingdom, having dominated the sport since its inception and being very popular. Everyone is asking what happened to it? Who is responsible for the downfall of this giant team? And how did it lose its stars who have moved to other clubs?
- (The football team of Ohod Club) was relegated to the second division, having sold most of its stars, and its fate may lead to the third division in the upcoming phase. What are these sports disasters for this historic city club, which is considered one of the first Saudi clubs to be established?!
- (Ohod Club) is banned from registering in football and basketball due to financial obligations and failure to pay the dues of contracted players and the accumulated debts. Will the file of Ohod Club be opened and those responsible for bringing it to this current situation held accountable, and will the Ohod house be rearranged again to prevent further disasters from occurring?!
- (Ohod Club) is a sad story that ended with the fall of a (champion), and accountability for those responsible for the loss of this history in basketball, and for the state it has reached. May God help it in the upcoming phase if there is no swift intervention; because the situation will worsen if matters are not addressed.
- (Governance) has provided incentives for clubs that achieved quality standards; it must also hold accountable those who fell short and brought their clubs to the lowest point, ranking last in everything!
- Efforts are unacceptable, and there is no room for them to tamper with the history of entities, and to say we tried but did not succeed. Governance systems are an integral part of success standards, and they do not lie entirely, but it is also required from (governance) to hold accountable the club administrations that did not achieve the (deserved support) for their clubs.
