The British court revealed horrifying details in the case of the murder of royal family doctor Dr. Hannah Terry, who was found dead inside her luxurious home in the village of Dersingham near the royal Sandringham estate in Norfolk, in a crime that shocked both the medical community and the royal family alike.
According to The Sun newspaper, her husband Mark Keen was referred to court on charges of murder after he inflicted fatal blows to her head with an axe and strangled her to death, while their two children were with other children inside the house during a sleepover.
In front of the King's Lynn court, the husband claimed in a call early the next morning that the house had been the target of an armed robbery, presenting superficial wounds on his body, alleging he had fought with a "strange intruder" in the basement while his wife slept upstairs. However, police investigations and the forensic report revealed the falsity of his account, as the examination showed the victim had suffered severe injuries from a hard object to the head and significant pressure on the neck that led to her death before the ambulance arrived, confirming that the crime took place inside the house without any presence of an external intruder.
The accused appeared via video from Norwich prison without showing any emotions, merely verifying his identity, and he was placed in pre-trial detention awaiting his scheduled court session in December. The victim's family and the medical community expressed profound shock at the crime, as Dr. Hannah was an outstanding doctor who provided her consulting services to members of the royal family, including Queen Camilla during their stay at the Sandringham estate.
In a statement of condolence, her family described her as a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, while her colleagues at the medical center confirmed that she was an exceptional doctor whose absence left a deep impact on the medical community.
