لكن النقطة التي حوّلت القضية من فساد مالي تقليدي إلى خطر أمني داهم، هي ما عثر عليه رجال الأمن مخبأً في زوايا المنزل، حيث وضعت القوات يدها على:
- كميات من الأسلحة والذخائر الحية.
- مواد متفجرة ومستلزمات عسكرية وأجهزة اتصال لاسلكية متطورة.
وفي هذا الإطار، أعلنت وزارة الداخلية العراقية إحالة المتهم فوراً إلى الجهات المختصة لبدء تحقيقات موسعة تهدف إلى كشف الشركاء والمستفيدين من هذه الشبكة.

In this context, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced the immediate referral of the suspect to the relevant authorities to initiate extensive investigations aimed at uncovering the partners and beneficiaries of this network.
