The so-called "Human Mechanic" has stirred controversy in Egypt again after reappearing following the end of his five-year prison sentence for impersonating a doctor, announcing the opening of a new manual therapy center despite being legally prohibited from engaging in any medical activity.

The General Syndicate of Physical Therapy warned against dealing with (Youssef K.H., known in the media as "Human Mechanic"), confirming that he has started promoting the opening of a new chiropractic center under the name "World of Cracking" in the Shubra area, in blatant violation of the law and the strict prison sentence issued against him in 2021.

The syndicate stated in an official complaint to the Ministers of Health and Labor and the Director of Security in Cairo that "cracking" the spine by non-specialists can lead to serious injuries, including quadriplegia or death, noting that the individual uses a craft practice card titled "Bath Massager" as a cover to receive patients, even though receiving medical cases requires an official medical license.

The syndicate called for closing the "back doors" that allow such practices to emerge by abolishing the "Professional Committee for Motor Rehabilitation" and preventing the issuance of professional licenses such as "Bath Massager," emphasizing that these titles are exploited by impostors and fraudsters to harm the health of citizens.

Calls have renewed for strict oversight of unlicensed alternative therapy centers after the return of the "Human Mechanic" to the spotlight despite repeated warnings about the dangers of his practices.
