يستضيف فريق الشباب نظيره فريق الحزم عند تمام الساعة 6:35 من مساء اليوم (الجمعة) ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثانية لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
يدخل الفريقان هذا اللقاء بحثاً عن تحقيق الفوز الأول في الدوري بعد أن فشلا في الجولة الأولى، ففريق الشباب صاحب الأرض والجمهور يدخل هذا اللقاء بعد الخسارة الثقيلة التي مُني بها من ضيفه فريق الخليج بنتيجة 1/ 4، ويسعى للتعويض بالفوز وحصد أول ثلاث نقاط له في الدوري، فيما يدخل فريق الحزم هذا اللقاء بعد تعادله في الجولة الأولى مع مضيفه ضمك بهدف لكل منهما بعد أن فرط الحزم بالفوز رغم تقدمه بالنتيجة، إلا إن ضمك استفاد من ضياع ركلة الجزاء التي نفذها عمر السومة وأدرك التعادل في الوقت القاتل، ويطمح الحزم لمواصلة عرضه القوي بحصد نقاط الليلة.
وسبق أن التقى الفريقان في دوري المحترفين 14 مرة، تمكن الشباب من الفوز في 12 لقاء، فيما فاز الحزم في مباراة واحدة فقط، وظهر التعادل مرة واحدة، واستطاع هجوم الشباب تسجيل 28 هدفاً، بينما سجل هجوم الحزم 7 أهداف فقط.
من جهته، تحدث مدرب الحزم جلال قادري في مؤتمره الصحفي عن لقاء الليلة حيث قال: «إن الجماهير الرياضية ستكون على موعد مع نفس الروح والحماس كما شاهدها الجمهور الرياضي في الجولة الأولى».
وعبر قادري عن ثقته في قدرة الفريق على تقديم أداء مُشرف وتحقيق نتائج إيجابية حيث قال: «إن فترة التوقف كانت فرصة مثالية للعمل على تجهيز اللاعبين والوصول بهم إلى أعلى مستويات الجاهزية، خاصة من الناحية البدنية، والفريق سيحصد قريباً ثمار هذا الجهد والعمل المُستمر».
