انتقد الإعلامي المخضرم وليد الفراج المستوى المخيب للآمال الذي يقدمه الأهلي المصري هذا الموسم، وخروجه من المنافسة على لقب الدوري بعد الخسارة القاسية أمام بيراميدز 3-0، الإثنين الماضي.
النسخة الأسوأ هذا العام
وكتب الفراج عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»: «يشهد الدوري المصري تغييرات كبيرة في المنافسة التي سيطر عليها الأهلي 45 عاماً، منها آخر 3 سنوات، وبالرغم من كوني عضواً ومحباً للقلعة الحمراء، إلا أنني أشاهد النسخة الأسوأ منه هذا العام».
وأضاف: «كمحب للكرة المصرية، أتمنى تحقيق الزمالك للقب، لأنه سيكون دليلاً على عافية المنافسة والدوري في مصر العزيزة».
موسم كارثي للأهلي
ويقدم الأهلي موسماً كارثياً تحت قيادة مدربه الدنماركي ييس توروب، إذ ودّع بطولتي كأس الرابطة وكأس مصر مبكراً، إلى جانب الخروج من دوري أبطال أفريقيا من الدور ربع النهائي على يد الترجي التونسي.
ترتيب الأهلي
وأهدر الأهلي الفرصة الأخيرة لمصالحة جماهيره بعد الخسارة أمام بيراميدز، حيث تجمد رصيده عند 44 نقطة في المركز الثالث، متأخراً بست نقاط عن الزمالك متصدر الترتيب، قبل ثلاث جولات فقط من نهاية المسابقة.
The veteran journalist Walid Al-Faraj criticized the disappointing level that Al-Ahly of Egypt is presenting this season, and their exit from the competition for the league title after the harsh loss to Pyramids 3-0 last Monday.

Al-Faraj wrote on his account on the "X" platform: "The Egyptian league is witnessing significant changes in the competition that has been dominated by Al-Ahly for 45 years, including the last 3 years. Despite being a member and a fan of the Red Castle, I am watching the worst version of it this year."
He added: "As a fan of Egyptian football, I hope Zamalek wins the title, as it would be evidence of the health of competition and the league in dear Egypt."
A disastrous season for Al-Ahly
Al-Ahly is having a disastrous season under their Danish coach Jes Torup, as they exited the League Cup and the Egypt Cup early, in addition to being eliminated from the African Champions League in the quarter-finals by Tunisian club Esperance.

Al-Ahly missed the last opportunity to reconcile with their fans after losing to Pyramids, as their points remained at 44 in third place, six points behind Zamalek, who is at the top of the standings, with only three rounds left in the competition.
