واصل فريق الشباب عدم تحقيق الفوز في الجولات الافتتاحية من دوري روشن للمحترفين للموسم الثالث على التوالي، بعد خسارته على أمام ضيفه الخليج برباعية مقابل هدف في ملعب نادي الشباب بالرياض، إذ كانت المرة الأولى التي يتعرض فيها الفريق للخسارة في المباراة الافتتاحية بدوري المحترفين لموسمين متتاليين، بعدما خسر المباراة الافتتاحية للموسم الماضي أمام الاتفاق بهدف دون رد، على ذات الملعب، وتعادل مع الأخدود 1/ 1، في انطلاقة الموسم قبل الماضي.
وسيواجه الفريق الشبابي نظيره الحزم (الجمعة) 12 سبتمبر الساعة 6:35 مساء، على ملعب نادي الشباب ضمن مباريات الجولة الثانية في دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، ويحتل الشباب حاليا المركز 17 في سلم ترتيب فرق الدوري للموسم الحالي.

The youth team continued to fail to achieve victory in the opening rounds of the Roshen Professional League for the third consecutive season, after losing to their guest Al-Khaleej by four goals to one at the Al-Shabab Club stadium in Riyadh. This was the first time the team has suffered a loss in the opening match of the Professional League for two consecutive seasons, having lost the opening match of last season against Al-Ettifaq by a goal to nil, at the same stadium, and drawing with Al-Akhidood 1/1 at the start of the season before last.
The youth team will face their counterpart Al-Hazm on Friday, September 12 at 6:35 PM, at the Al-Shabab Club stadium as part of the second round matches in the Saudi Roshen Professional League. Currently, Al-Shabab occupies the 17th position in the league standings for the current season.
