حقق منتخب الجزائر فوزًا ثميناً على ضيفه البوتسواني بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف، في المباراة التي جمعتهما مساء (الخميس)، على ملعب «حسين آيت أحمد»، ضمن منافسات الجولة السابعة من التصفيات الأفريقية المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2026.
وشارك رياض محرز، لاعب الأهلي، أساسياً في تشكيلة الجزائر، وغادر في الدقيقة 67 لصالح سعيد بن رحمة، لاعب نيوم.
وجاءت أهداف الخُضر بتوقيع محمد الأمين عمورة وبغداد بونجاح (هدفين) في الدقائق 33 و73 و90+6، بينما سجل تيبوغو كوبيلانغ هدف بوتسوانا الوحيد قبل دقيقتين من نهاية الوقت الأصلي للشوط الأول.
بهذه النتيجة، عزز المنتخب الجزائري صدارته للمجموعة السابعة في التصفيات برصيد 18 نقطة، بفارق 6 نقاط عن منتخب موزمبيق الذي يلتقي مع أوغندا اليوم (الجمعة)، ضمن منافسات الجولة ذاتها، بينما تجمد رصيد بوتسوانا عند 10 نقاط في المركز الثالث.
ويتأهل متصدر كل مجموعة مباشرة إلى مونديال 2026 الذي سيُقام في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك، بينما يتوجه أفضل أربعة أصحاب المركز الثاني إلى الملحق الأفريقي للحصول على فرصة في الملحق الدولي.
