نفى المتحدث باسم الخارجية القطرية الدكتور ماجد الأنصاري اليوم (السبت) احتجاز طيارين إيرانيين.
وأبدى الأنصاري استغرابه في تدوينات على حسابه في «إكس» من التصريحات المضللة التي تتحدث عن احتجاز طيارين إيرانيين في هذا التوقيت، في ظل استمرار المساعي والجهود الدبلوماسية الرامية إلى خفض التصعيد في المنطقة.
وقال الأنصاري: «تم التواصل مع الطيارين المعنيين بعد خرقهم الأجواء القطرية والتأكد من مسار الاستهداف، وبعد اتباع قواعد الاشتباك والتواصل معهم دون إجابة، تم اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة للدفاع عن أراضينا وفقاً لمقتضيات القانون الدولي، وهو ما تم إيضاحه في حينه عبر القنوات الرسمية».
وأشار إلى أن فرق البحث والإنقاذ القطرية قامت بواجبها على أكمل وجه للبحث عن رفات الطيارين، وأن دولة قطر تواصلت مع الجانب الإيراني لتنسيق استلام رفات أحد الطيارين الذي تم العثور عليه وفقاً لأحكام القانون الدولي الإنساني ذات الصلة، كما وجهت دعوة لزيارة فريق للاطلاع على تفاصيل عمليات البحث والإنقاذ في أبريل الماضي، ولم يستجب لها الطرف الإيراني حتى الآن.
وكان الحرس الثوري الإيراني قد قال في وقت سابق اليوم إن قطر تحتجز 3 طيارين إيرانيين منذ إسقاط مقاتلاتهم في مارس الماضي، وبحسب وكالة فارس الإيرانية فإن إيران طلبت من اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر المساعدة في ضمان الإفراج عن ثلاثة طيارين إيرانيين التي زاعمة أن قطر تحتجزهم.
ونقلت الوكالة عن هيئة الأركان العامة في القوات المسلحة الإيرانية أن الطيارين احتُجزوا بعد إصابة طائراتهم خلال مهمة نفذت في مارس ضد ما تزعم طهران بأنها قاعدة عسكرية معادية في قطر.
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت وسائل إعلام رسمية إيرانية استئناف الرحلات الجوية في مطار بندر عباس الواقع على الساحل الإيراني اليوم، بعدما شهدت تلك الرحلات انقطاعات متكررة بسبب الحرب مع الولايات المتحدة.
ونقلت وكالة «إرنا» الإيرانية للأنباء عن المدير العام للمطارات في محافظة هرمزغان كاظم توسلي قوله «استؤنفت اليوم الرحلات الجوية المجدولة في مطار بندر عباس الدولي على الخطوط الداخلية التي تشهد حركة كثيفة».
The spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Dr. Majid Al-Ansari, denied today (Saturday) the detention of Iranian pilots.
Al-Ansari expressed his astonishment in posts on his account on "X" regarding the misleading statements about the detention of Iranian pilots at this time, amid ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions in the region.
He stated: "We communicated with the concerned pilots after they breached Qatari airspace and confirmed the targeting path. After following the rules of engagement and attempting to communicate with them without response, the necessary measures were taken to defend our territory in accordance with the requirements of international law, which was clarified at the time through official channels."
He pointed out that Qatari search and rescue teams fulfilled their duty to search for the remains of the pilots, and that the State of Qatar contacted the Iranian side to coordinate the retrieval of the remains of one of the pilots who was found in accordance with relevant humanitarian international law. Additionally, a request was made for a team visit to review the details of the search and rescue operations last April, which the Iranian side has not responded to so far.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard had stated earlier today that Qatar has detained three Iranian pilots since their fighter jets were shot down in March. According to the Iranian Fars news agency, Iran has requested assistance from the International Committee of the Red Cross to ensure the release of the three Iranian pilots that it claims Qatar is holding.
The agency quoted the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces as saying that the pilots were detained after their aircraft were hit during a mission conducted in March against what Tehran claims is a hostile military base in Qatar.
On another note, Iranian state media announced the resumption of flights at Bandar Abbas Airport located on the Iranian coast today, after those flights experienced repeated interruptions due to the war with the United States.
The Iranian news agency "IRNA" quoted Kazem Tosli, the general director of airports in Hormozgan Province, as saying, "Scheduled flights at Bandar Abbas International Airport on domestic routes that witness heavy traffic have resumed today."
