أعلنت وزارة الداخلية السورية توقيف 235 شخصا ينتمون إلى تنظيم داعش الإرهابي، وأكدت في بيان، اليوم الثلاثاء، تفكيك 7 خلايا تابعة للتنظيم في عدة محافظات، خلال عمليات أمنية نُفذت بالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة على مدى الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية.
وقالت الوزارة إن الموقوفين يضمون 198 سورياً و37 أجنبياً، ولفتت إلى أن العمليات الأمنية شملت محافظات حماة وحلب ودير الزور وحمص ودمشق.
وحسب البيان، فإن الأجهزة الأمنية صادرت 120 قطعة ومعدة متنوعة، بينها 25 قطعة سلاح و6 آليات و22 معدة تستخدم في التفجير، إضافة إلى 67 جهازاً إلكترونياً.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن هذه النتائج جاءت في إطار حملات أمنية بدأت منذ مارس الماضي، استهدفت خلايا تابعة للتنظيم في مدينة البوكمال ومناطق ريفها وصولاً إلى ريف البصيرة في محافظة دير الزور. ولفتت إلى أن العمليات استندت إلى معلومات وتحريات استخباراتية دقيقة حول تحركات عناصر يشتبه بانتمائهم إلى التنظيم.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية السورية مواصلة ملاحقة أي نشاط مرتبط بالتنظيمات المتشددة أو يهدد الأمن والاستقرار، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة المختصة. وشددت على أن العمليات الأمنية ستتواصل في مختلف المناطق، مع الالتزام بتطبيق القانون والحفاظ على الأمن العام.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 235 individuals belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS, and confirmed in a statement today, Tuesday, the dismantling of 7 cells affiliated with the organization in several provinces, during security operations carried out in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate over the past three months.
The ministry stated that the detainees include 198 Syrians and 37 foreigners, noting that the security operations covered the provinces of Hama, Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Homs, and Damascus.
According to the statement, the security forces seized 120 various pieces of equipment, including 25 firearms, 6 vehicles, and 22 devices used for explosions, in addition to 67 electronic devices.
The ministry clarified that these results came as part of security campaigns that began last March, targeting cells affiliated with the organization in the city of Al-Bukamal and its surrounding areas, reaching the countryside of Al-Basira in Deir ez-Zor province. It noted that the operations were based on precise intelligence information about the movements of individuals suspected of belonging to the organization.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior confirmed its continued pursuit of any activities related to extremist organizations or that threaten security and stability, in coordination with the relevant authorities. It emphasized that security operations will continue in various regions, while adhering to the rule of law and maintaining public security.
