أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الإماراتية أن دفاعاتها الجوية تعاملت، اليوم (الإثنين)، مع 12 صاروخاً بالستياً، و3 صواريخ جوالة، و4 طائرات مسيّرة قادمة من إيران، أسفرت عن إصابة 3 أشخاص بجروح متوسطة.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان على حسابها في «إكس» أن الدفاعات الجوية تعاملت مع 549 صاروخاً بالستياً و29 صاروخاً كروز و2260 طائرة مسيّرة قادمة من إيران منذ بدء الحرب في فبراير الماضي.
وأكدت الوزارة أرتفاع عدد الإصابات بالهجمات الإيرانية إلى 227 شخصاً من جنسيات متعددة بينهم إماراتيون، فيما بلغ عدد الشهداء 3، بما في ذلك مدني واحد مغربي الجنسية متعاقد مع القوات المسلحة، وبلغ إجمالي عدد الوفيات المدنية 10 أشخاص من عدد من الجنسيات.
وقالت الوزارة إنها تظل في حالة تأهب كامل واستعداد للتعامل مع أي تهديدات، وسوف تواجه بقوة أي شيء يهدف إلى تقويض أمن الدولة، بطريقة تضمن حماية سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها وحماية مصالحها وقدراتها الوطنية.
من جهة أخرى، أدان الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط بأشد العبارات تجدد العدوان الإيراني الغادر على الإمارات.
وندد أبو الغيط، في بيان، بـ«الاعتداء الإيراني السافر الذي استهدف ناقلة إماراتية بمسيّرات حربية أثناء عبورها من خلال مضيق هرمز، وكذا الهجوم بمسيّرة على منشأة نفطية في الفجيرة»، مشدداً على ضرورة الوقف الفوري لجميع الأعمال العدوانية الإيرانية التي تستهدف الإمارات أو حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز.
وحمل الأمين العام للجامعة العربية إيران المسؤولية كاملة عن أفعالها غير المشروعة التي تهدد السلم والأمن الدوليين، ونقل المتحدث باسم الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية جمال رشدي، عن أبو الغيط تأكيده أن «الأمن القومي العربي كل لا يتجزأ»، معرباً عن التضامن الكامل والوقوف إلى جانب الإمارات في ما ستتخذ من إجراءات لحماية أمنها وسلامة أراضيها.
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defenses dealt today (Monday) with 12 ballistic missiles, 3 cruise missiles, and 4 drones coming from Iran, resulting in 3 people sustaining moderate injuries.
The ministry clarified in a statement on its account on "X" that the air defenses have dealt with 549 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2260 drones coming from Iran since the start of the war in February.
The ministry confirmed that the number of injuries from Iranian attacks has risen to 227 individuals of various nationalities, including Emiratis, while the number of martyrs has reached 3, including one civilian of Moroccan nationality contracted with the armed forces, and the total number of civilian deaths has reached 10 individuals from several nationalities.
The ministry stated that it remains in a state of full alert and readiness to deal with any threats, and will respond strongly to anything aimed at undermining the security of the state, in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, security, stability, and the protection of its interests and national capabilities.
On another note, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, condemned in the strongest terms the renewed treacherous Iranian aggression against the UAE.
Aboul Gheit denounced, in a statement, the "blatant Iranian attack that targeted an Emirati tanker with military drones while it was passing through the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the drone attack on an oil facility in Fujairah," emphasizing the necessity of an immediate halt to all Iranian aggressive actions targeting the UAE or freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Secretary-General of the Arab League held Iran fully responsible for its unlawful actions that threaten international peace and security, and the spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Jamal Rushdi, conveyed Aboul Gheit's affirmation that "Arab national security is an indivisible whole," expressing full solidarity and support for the UAE in whatever measures it will take to protect its security and the safety of its territories.
