انتقلت إلى رحمة الله تعالى الإذاعية الرائدة منى فؤاد شاكر بعد معاناة مع المرض.
والفقيدة من أوائل الإذاعيات في المملكة، وأسهمت بمهنية وحضور مميز في مسيرة الإعلام السعودي في بداياته. وهي ابنة السفير فؤاد شاكر، وزوجة المحرر الفني الراحل جلال أبو زيد.
ويُعد رحيلها خسارة للإعلام ولجيل الروّاد الذين تركوا أثراً طيباً وسيرة عطرة.
ويتقبل العزاء للنساء في منزلها بحي السلامة، وللرجال في مسجد الغزاوي بجدة.
The pioneering broadcaster Mona Fouad Shakir has passed away to the mercy of God after a struggle with illness.
The deceased was one of the first female broadcasters in the Kingdom and contributed with professionalism and a distinctive presence to the early journey of Saudi media. She is the daughter of Ambassador Fouad Shakir and the wife of the late artistic editor Jalal Abu Zaid.
Her passing is considered a loss for the media and for the generation of pioneers who left a positive impact and a fragrant legacy.
Condolences for women will be accepted at her home in Al-Salamah neighborhood, and for men at Al-Ghazawi Mosque in Jeddah.
