نظم المكتب الثقافي التعليمي المصري بالرياض ملتقى ذوي الهمم والاحتياجات الخاصة، تحت إشراف وإدارة الملحق الثقافي رئيس البعثة التعليمية المصرية بالسعودية الدكتور أحمد سعيد فهيم منصور، برعاية سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى المملكة السفير إيهاب أبو سريع، وذلك بمقر المكتب بالرياض.
وشهد الملتقى عروضاً فنية من طلاب الاحتياجات الخاصة وطلاب الدمج بمدارس المسار المصري وقصص نجاح ملهمة لشباب من ذوي الهمم، أبرزهم الطالبان يوسف أحمد عبدالحي، وعمر محمود قناوي، إضافة إلى محاضرات توعوية من الدكتور محمد الباهي، والدكتور محمد غندور عن التوحد ودور المؤسسات التعليمية.
وأكد الدكتور أحمد منصور، في كلمته، حرص المكتب على التفاعل المستمر مع المبادرات الثقافية والمناسبات، خصوصاً لذوي الهمم.
وأشار إلى أن هذا الملتقى يأتي في إطار اهتمام والتزام الدولة المصرية بقيادة الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي بدعم وتمكين الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، وتعزيز الدمج التعليمي والمجتمعي، من خلال مبادرات وطنية مثل «قادرون باختلاف»، و«تمكين» التابعة لوزارة التعليم العالي.
The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Office in Riyadh organized a forum for people with determination and special needs, under the supervision and management of the cultural attaché and head of the Egyptian educational mission in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Ahmed Said Faheem Mansour, with the sponsorship of the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom, Ambassador Ihab Abu Sereih, at the office's headquarters in Riyadh.
The forum featured artistic performances by students with special needs and integrated students from Egyptian curriculum schools, as well as inspiring success stories from young people with determination, including students Youssef Ahmed Abdel-Hai and Omar Mahmoud Qanawy, in addition to awareness lectures by Dr. Mohamed Al-Bahi and Dr. Mohamed Ghandour on autism and the role of educational institutions.
Dr. Ahmed Mansour emphasized in his speech the office's commitment to continuous interaction with cultural initiatives and events, especially for people with determination.
He pointed out that this forum comes as part of the interest and commitment of the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to support and empower persons with disabilities and to enhance educational and community integration through national initiatives such as "Able with Differences" and "Empowerment," which are affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education.
