عقدت لجنة التحقيق في أحداث السويداء اليوم (السبت) أول أول اجتماع لها في مقر وزارة العدل بدمشق، برئاسة الوزير مظهر الويس، بحسب وكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا).
ونقلت الوكالة عن وزير العدل تأكيده على أعضاء اللجنة بضرورة العمل وفق المبادئ الأساسية للعدالة التي تنصف جميع المتضررين، مبيناً أن نتائج العمل يجب أن تصب في مصلحة السلم الأهلي، وإعادة الأمن والأمان والاستقرار لجميع مكونات الشعب السوري.
ولفت إلى أنه بعد الاجتماع، عقد أعضاء اللجنة جلسة عمل داخلية، تم خلالها اختيار حاتم النعسان رئيساً، وعمار عزالدين متحدثاً إعلامياً، إضافة إلى تخصيص مقر دائم للجنة داخل وزارة العدل، كما تم فتح خطين هاتفيين للتواصل مع الأهالي في السويداء وتلقّي الشكاوى.
وقال رئيس اللجنة حاتم النعسان، إن التحقيقات ستبدأ فوراً باللقاء مع المسؤولين في محافظتي السويداء ودرعا والأهالي المتضررين، مضيفاً: الهدف من اللجنة كشف الحقيقة كاملة وتحديد المسؤولين عن الأحداث الأليمة كأساس لتحقيق السلم المجتمعي، مع العمل بصلاحيات كاملة وشفافية. وكانت وزارة العدل أعلنت الخميس الماضي، تشكيل لجنة للتحقيق في أحداث السويداء الأخيرة، بناءً على أحكام قانون السلطة القضائية الصادر بالمرسوم التشريعي رقم 98 لعام 1961 وتعديلاته، وأحكام القرار الرئاسي رقم 9 لعام 2025، وتوجيهات من الرئيس أحمد الشرع بالالتزام بكشف الحقيقة وضمان المساءلة، ومقتضيات المصلحة الوطنية.

The investigation committee into the events in Sweida held its first meeting today (Saturday) at the Ministry of Justice headquarters in Damascus, chaired by Minister Mazhar al-Wais, according to the Syrian news agency (SANA).
The agency quoted the Minister of Justice emphasizing to the committee members the necessity of working according to the fundamental principles of justice that serve all affected parties, indicating that the results of the work should be in the interest of civil peace, and restoring security and stability for all components of the Syrian people.
He pointed out that after the meeting, the committee members held an internal working session, during which Hatim al-Nassan was chosen as president, and Ammar Azeddin as the media spokesperson, in addition to allocating a permanent headquarters for the committee within the Ministry of Justice, and opening two phone lines for communication with the residents of Sweida to receive complaints.
Committee President Hatim al-Nassan stated that investigations will begin immediately by meeting with officials in the provinces of Sweida and Daraa and the affected residents, adding: the goal of the committee is to uncover the complete truth and identify those responsible for the painful events as a basis for achieving societal peace, while working with full powers and transparency. The Ministry of Justice announced last Thursday the formation of a committee to investigate the recent events in Sweida, based on the provisions of the Judicial Authority Law issued by Legislative Decree No. 98 of 1961 and its amendments, and the provisions of Presidential Decision No. 9 of 2025, and directives from President Ahmad al-Shara to commit to uncovering the truth and ensuring accountability, and the requirements of national interest.
