حذّرت أمانة محافظة جدة من مخالفة تصريف مياه الصرف الصحي في الوسائط البيئية، وعلى رأسها شبكات تصريف مياه الأمطار، مؤكدة أن هذه المخالفة تُعد من التجاوزات البيئية الجسيمة التي تُعرّض مرتكبها لغرامات مالية قد تصل إلى 20 مليون ريال.
وشددت الأمانة على أن هذه الممارسة غير النظامية تضر بالبنية التحتية، وتؤثر سلباً على البيئة والصحة العامة، إلى جانب تسببها في انسدادات واختناقات في شبكات التصريف.
وأوضحت أمانة جدة أن العقوبات لا تقتصر على الغرامات المالية فقط، بل تشمل أيضاً اتخاذ عدد من الإجراءات النظامية بحق المخالفين، من أبرزها:
-إيقاف الصرف فوراً.
-معالجة الأضرار البيئية الناتجة عن التصريف.
- دفع التعويضات.
-الإحالة إلى النيابة العامة.
ودعت الأمانة جميع المنشآت والأفراد إلى الالتزام بالأنظمة والتعليمات البيئية، والتبليغ عن أي ممارسات مخالفة عبر قنوات الاتصال الرسمية.
The Jeddah Municipality has warned against the violation of discharging sewage into environmental mediums, primarily stormwater drainage networks, emphasizing that this violation is considered a serious environmental transgression that exposes the offender to financial penalties that may reach up to 20 million riyals.
The municipality stressed that this unlawful practice harms infrastructure and negatively impacts the environment and public health, in addition to causing blockages and congestion in drainage networks.
The Jeddah Municipality clarified that the penalties are not limited to financial fines only, but also include taking a number of legal actions against violators, the most notable of which are:
- Immediate cessation of discharge.
- Remediation of the environmental damage caused by the discharge.
- Payment of compensations.
- Referral to the Public Prosecution.
The municipality urged all establishments and individuals to adhere to environmental regulations and instructions, and to report any violations through official communication channels.
