استقبل الرئيس النيجيري بولا أحمد تينوبو، الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد العيسى، في القصر الرئاسي بالعاصمة النيجيرية أبوجا.
وثمن الرئيس تينوبو مبادرة رابطة العالم الإسلامي للسلم المجتمعي في غرب أفريقيا، مؤكداً دعمه الكامل لـ«إعلان أبوجا»، وما اشتمل عليه من خطة عمل وبرامج تنفيذية، وهيئة تنسيقية للتعاون المُشترك.
فيما شكر العيسى رعاية الرئيس النيجيري لمؤتمر مبادرة الرابطة في العاصمة «أبوجا»، الذي شهد حضور القيادات الدينية بمختلف تنوعهم في الغرب الأفريقي.
Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, at the presidential palace in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
President Tinubu praised the initiative of the Muslim World League for community peace in West Africa, affirming his full support for the "Abuja Declaration," which includes an action plan and executive programs, as well as a coordinating body for joint cooperation.
Meanwhile, Al-Issa thanked the Nigerian president for sponsoring the League's initiative conference in the capital "Abuja," which witnessed the attendance of religious leaders from various backgrounds in West Africa.
