وزير الدفاع يستقبل مدير مكتب القائد العام للقوات المسلحة العراقية

Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met today (Thursday) in his office in Riyadh with the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari.

During the meeting, they reviewed Saudi-Iraqi relations in the military and defense fields, discussed regional developments, and emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation between the two countries to serve their common interests and achieve regional security and stability.

Attending the meeting were the Head of General Intelligence, Mr. Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, the Commander of Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Suliman, and the Minister of Defense's Advisor for Intelligence Affairs, Mr. Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.

From the Iraqi side, the meeting was attended by the Head of the Intelligence Service, Hamid Al-Shatri, the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid Houshi Al-Moussawi, and the Commander of Air Defense, Lieutenant General Mohannad Al-Asadi.
