دشّن مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، أمس الأول، مشروع تشغيل بئر وادي المعسل والمحطة التحويلية التابعة له في مديرية المظفر بمحافظة تعز، ضمن مشروع تعزيز مصادر المياه الآمنة والنظيفة بشكل مستدام لسكان المحافظة.
ويتضمن المشروع تركيب منظومة متكاملة للطاقة الشمسية لتشغيل البئر والمحطة التحويلية وضخ المياه إلى الخزانات، بما يضمن استمرارية الخدمة وتقليل الاعتماد على المشتقات النفطية وتعزيز استخدام الطاقة النظيفة، تستفيد منه 50000 أسرة.
ويأتي ذلك في إطار حرص المملكة عبر ذراعها الإنسانية مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة على دعم مشاريع المياه المستدامة في اليمن، بما يسهم في تحسين الخدمات الأساسية، وزيادة الأمن المائي، والارتقاء بالظروف المعيشية للسكان، وتحقيق أثر إنساني وتنموي مستدام.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center launched, the day before yesterday, the project to operate the Wadi Al-Muassal well and its associated pumping station in the Al-Mudhaffar district of Taiz Governorate, as part of the project to enhance sustainable sources of safe and clean water for the residents of the governorate.
The project includes the installation of a comprehensive solar energy system to operate the well and the pumping station and to pump water to the reservoirs, ensuring the continuity of service, reducing reliance on petroleum derivatives, and promoting the use of clean energy, benefiting 50,000 families.
This initiative comes as part of the Kingdom's commitment, through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support sustainable water projects in Yemen, contributing to the improvement of basic services, increasing water security, enhancing the living conditions of the population, and achieving a sustainable humanitarian and developmental impact.
