بمبادرة من وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد في المملكة العربية السعودية، وبالتعاون مع إدارة الشؤون الإسلامية بوزارة الأديان السريلانكية، وفي إطار الجهود المتواصلة التي تقوم بها الوزارة في تشجيع أبناء المسلمين على حفظ كتاب الله والعناية به،
وتعزيزاً للعناية بكتاب الله تعالى، ودعم حفظته، وترسيخاً لقيم الوسطية والاعتدال، ونشراً لمعاني الإسلام السمحة، انطلقت في جمهورية سريلانكا، أمس، النسخة الثالثة من مسابقة القرآن الكريم، التي يشارك فيها 2600 متسابق ومتسابقة، تأهّل منهم 200 للتصفيات النهائية، موزعين على 8 فروع، بواقع 4 فروع للطلاب ومثلها للطالبات. وتشمل الفروع: حفظ القرآن الكريم كاملاً، وحفظ 10 أجزاء، وحفظ 5 أجزاء، وفق معايير تحكيم دقيقة تضمن العدالة بين المتسابقين.
At the initiative of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Islamic Affairs Administration of the Sri Lankan Ministry of Religious Affairs, and as part of the ongoing efforts by the ministry to encourage Muslim youth to memorize and care for the Book of Allah,
and in support of the care for the Book of Allah Almighty, and to support its memorizers, and to reinforce the values of moderation and balance, and to spread the meanings of Islam's tolerance, the third edition of the Holy Quran Competition was launched yesterday in the Republic of Sri Lanka, with 2,600 male and female participants, of which 200 qualified for the final rounds, distributed across 8 categories, with 4 categories for boys and 4 for girls. The categories include: memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 10 parts, and memorization of 5 parts, according to precise judging criteria that ensure fairness among the competitors.
