التقى وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر بن إبراهيم الخريّف، وزير الخارجية والهجرة المصري الدكتور بدر عبدالعاطي، في مقر الوزارة بالرياض، اليوم؛ وبحث معه تعزيز الروابط الاقتصادية بين البلدين، وفرص تطوير التعاون المشترك في قطاعي الصناعة والتعدين.
وناقش الوزيران أهمية تعميق الشراكة الاقتصادية بين المملكة ومصر من خلال التوسع في تحقيق التكامل الصناعي، كما بحثا زيادة حجم التبادل التجاري بين البلدين؛ بهدف الوصول إلى مستويات تعكس عمق العلاقات الثنائية، والفرص الكامنة في السوقين.
وتناول الاجتماع معالجة المعوقات، التي قد تواجه المصدرين والمستثمرين في كلا الدولتين، والحلول المقترحة لتسهيل بيئة الأعمال وجعلها أكثر جاذبية للاستثمارات المتبادلة.
وشهد الاجتماع حضورا من الجانب السعودي، لكل من نائب وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية لشؤون الصناعة المهندس خليل بن سلمه، والرئيس التنفيذي لصندوق التنمية الصناعية السعودي الأمير سلطان بن خالد بن فيصل، والرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة تنمية الصادرات السعودية المهندس عبدالرحمن الذكير، فيما حضره من الجانب المصري، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى المملكة السيد إيهاب أبو سريع.
ويأتي هذا الاجتماع امتدادا للجهود المتواصلة لتطوير العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية بين المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية مصر العربية، وتعزيز الشراكة الإستراتيجية بين البلدين الشقيقين في مختلف المجالات.
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef met today with the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh; they discussed enhancing economic ties between the two countries and opportunities for developing joint cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors.
The two ministers discussed the importance of deepening the economic partnership between the Kingdom and Egypt by expanding industrial integration, as well as increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries; with the aim of reaching levels that reflect the depth of bilateral relations and the latent opportunities in both markets.
The meeting addressed the challenges that exporters and investors from both countries may face, along with proposed solutions to facilitate the business environment and make it more attractive for mutual investments.
The meeting was attended by the Saudi side, including the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs Engineer Khalil bin Salmah, the CEO of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund Prince Sultan bin Khalid bin Faisal, and the CEO of the Saudi Export Development Authority Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Dukheir. From the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom Mr. Ihab Abu Sarai.
This meeting comes as a continuation of ongoing efforts to develop economic and trade relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and to enhance the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
